Our team engaged with stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and business owners, providing guidance on company registration, business formalisation, and the range of services offered by the Companies Office of Jamaica to support business growth and compliance.

NEWS: CEO and Registrar Shellie Leon says the integration is part of COJ’s broader digital transformation to streamline and secure business registration and compliance.

With APIs now in place, agencies can securely share data and validate key information in real time, making registrations and updates faster and more efficient.

Starting May 4, 2026, accessing and paying for select online services will require a funded Subscription Account.

NEWS: Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, Shellie Leon, said persons should utilise the agency’s online platform to confirm whether an entity is legally registered and in good standing before entering into agreements or making payments.

NEWS: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Operations, Laurie-Ann Jackson, noted that the in house team is a critical component of the agency’s digital transformation strategy, ensuring users are properly onboarded and supported as more services transition online.
