The St. Catherine LSDP commenced in July 2014 to create a parish development plan - "The Way Forward". It will emboss and boasts the vision of its locals.

Catherine Parish Council has recently undertaken the development of a local Sustainable Development Plan for the parish which is geared towards the fulfillment of Vision 2030 ideals through the establishment of a progressive local agenda. With this summer heat upon us, the realisation of climate change is becoming more real to our little island. It is most important for us to take stock of how we do things - the simple things.
- Do not burn garbage at all
- Do not litter the streets or waterways
- Do not concrete your yards
- Plant and replant some more
- Recycle and reuse

These simple yet easy ways of reusing and recycling our waste can help us to be more waste-wise and by extension environmentally friendly.
