เมื่อวันที่ 14 พ.ค. 2569 นางจิราพร จิรำไพกูล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน และนาย Mohammad Khair Ahmad Abu Qdais อธิการบดี Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) ร่วมเป็นประธานการจัดกิจกรรมในวันที่สองของโครงการ Thai Culinary Day at Luminus Technical University College

สำหรับกิจกรรมในวันนี้ นักศึกษาจาก LTUC จำนวน 6 ทีม ได้เข้าร่วมแข่งขันสร้างสรรค์เมนูอาหารทีมละ 2 เมนู (Main Course และ appetizer หรือ dessert) แก่คณะกรรมการซึ่งประกอบด้วยเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน เชฟประจำทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต คณบดีและเชฟจาก School of Hospitality and Tourism of LTUC โดยแต่ละเมนูต้องใช้วัตถุดิบของไทยอย่างน้อยเมนูละ 5 อย่าง
ในการนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันได้สร้างสรรค์เมนูที่หลากหลาย ทั้งนี้ เมนูที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ ได้แก่ Appetizer คือ Thai Curry Arancini และ Main Course คือ Rice Noodles in Tamarind Broth ส่วนเมนูที่ได้รับรางวัลที่ 2 ได้แก่ Appetizer คือ Quinoa Salad with Thai Tropical Fruits และ Main Course คือ Thai-Spiced Shish Tawook ส่วนเมนูที่ได้รับรางวัลที่ 3 ได้แก่ Appetizer คือ Thai Soup และ Main Course คือ Thai-Spiced Kabsa

สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมครั้งนี้และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการส่งเสริมและประชาสัมพันธ์อาหารและวัตถุดิบจากประเทศไทยในจอร์แดน

On 14 May 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan and Mr. Mohammad Khair Ahmad Abu Qdais, President of Luminus Technical University College (LTUC), co-presided over the second of Thai Culinary Day at Luminus Technical University College, which aims to elevate Thai cuisines and Thai products to the global kitchen.

For today’s activity, 6 teams of LTUC students competed in creating two menus, a main course and a choice of either an appetizer or dessert. It was also compulsory that each menu contains at least six Thai ingredients. The menus were not limited to only traditional Thai food but could also include a modern and fusion style. The panel of judge consisted of Her Excellency the Ambassador of Thailand, the Director and Head Chef of the School of Hospitality and Tourism of LTUC, as well as the Thai Residence Chef.

The first prize winner presented Thai Curry Arancini as appetizer and Rice Noodles in Tamarind Broth as Main Course. The second prize winner showcased Quinoa Salad with Thai Tropical Fruits and Thai-Spiced Shish Tawook as Main Course. The third prize winner presented Thai Soup for appetizer and Thai-Spiced Kabsa as Main Course.
The Embassy sincerely appreciates the active participation and interest from executive members, professors and students of LTUC in Thai cuisine and Thai products and looks forward to collaborating with LTUC again in the future.

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวถึงกล่าวถึงอัตลักษณ์ของอาหารไทย ซึ่งไม่เพียงแต่มีรสชาติอร่อย แต่สะท้อนถึงวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปัญญาของไทยที่ถ่ายทอดมายาวนาน และได้เชิญชวนนักศึกษาของ LTUC ที่จะสำเร็จการศึกษาเป็นเชฟชั้นนำของจอร์แดนและตะวันออกกลางเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับอาหารไทยและเครื่องปรุงไทยที่มีจำหน่ายในจอร์แดน โดยซึ่งองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเครื่องปรุงและเทคนิคในการประกอบอาหารไทยจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการสร้างสรรค์เมนูต่าง ๆ ในอนาคต

ทั้งนี้ การจัดกิจกรรมในวันดังกล่าวเป็นวันแรกของโครงการฯ โดยในวันนี้นักศึกษาที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับภาพรวมของอาหารไทย และเครื่องปรุงต่าง ๆ ของไทย จากนั้น นักศึกษาได้ฝึกหัดทำอาหารไทยสองเมนู ได้แก่ ต้มยำกุ้งและผัดไทยจากเชฟของทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตอีกด้วย

On 13 May 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, together with Mr. Ekkawit Sudanich, spouse of the Ambassador, presided over the opening ceremony of the Thai Culinary Day at Luminuas Technical University College (LTUC). Her Excellency the Ambassador and the Royal Thai Embassy team were warmly welcomed by H.E. Mr. Mohammad Khair Ahmad Abu Qdais, President of LTUC and
Dr. Sahira Kilany, Director of the School of Hospitality and Tourism.

Her Excellency the Ambassador of Thailand highlighted the characteristics of Thai cuisines, which reflect both the richness in tastes, as well as the culture and wisdom that has been passed on through many generations in Thailand. The Ambassador also encouraged participating students to create inspiring menus using Thai ingredients, thus elevating Thai cuisines and bringing Thai Kitchen to the world.

This culinary session is the first of a two-day project, under the collaboration of the Royal Embassy in Amman and LTUC, in which participating students would learn about the general concepts of Thai cooking and various Thai ingredients. After that, the students learned to cook two Thai dishes: Shrimp Tom Yum and Chicken Phadthai from the chefs of the Thai Residence. Participants received preliminary comments about their cooking from Her Excellency the Ambassador as well as the chefs from the Thai residence.

MFA Thailand Channel Winning Video Clip – “Thailand as a Muslim-Friendly Destination”

เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางจิราพร จิรำไพกูล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน ได้กล่าวเปิดโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพสู่การเป็นผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ในบริบทสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งเป็นโครงการที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และสมาคมนักศึกษาไทยในจอร์แดนได้ร่วมกับ the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS) ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันฯ ภายใต้การอุปถัมภ์ของเจ้าชาย El Hassan Bin Talal จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 7 - 8 พฤษภาคม 2569 โดยมีนักศึกษาไทยจากมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ และสถาบันภาษาอาหรับเข้าร่วมโครงการจำนวน 54 คน

นักศึกษาไทยได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายเพื่อฝึกทักษะความเป็นผู้นำในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่
- การพบหารือกับผู้แทนสำนักงานผู้วินิจฉัยวัตรปฏิบัติทางศาสนาทั่วไปของจอร์แดน
- การเข้าร่วมการสัมมนากับนักวิชาการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านพหุวัฒนธรรมของจอร์แดน
- การรับฟังการบรรยายธรรมจากอาจารย์สันติ เสือสมิง ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิสำนักจุฬาราชมนตรี ในหัวข้อการอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม
- การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความเป็นผู้นำในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมซึ่งจัดโดยสมาคมนักศึกษาไทยในจอร์แดน
- การทัศนศึกษาโบราณสถานทางประวัติศาสตร์ ศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมของจอร์แดนที่เมือง Ajlun เพื่อเรียนรู้ตัวอย่างการปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศของจอร์แดนในด้านสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม

On 7 May 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, delivered remarks at the opening session of the project to promote leadership building in multi-cultural society for Thai students in Jordan, in collaboration with the Thai Students' Association in Jordan and the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS), which is under the patronage of Prince El Hassan Bin Talal.

The project was organized during 7 - 8 May 2026, with a total of 54 Thai students from various universities and Arabic institutes in Jordan attending the program.

The Thai students participated in various activities to gain greater understanding towards fostering an inclusive, peaceful, and multicultural society as follows:
- meetings and exchanges of views with representatives from the Iftaa' Department of Jordan
- participating in the seminar, delivered by experts, on history of Jordan, its religion and cultural diversity
- joining an online lecture entitled “Living in the Multicultural Society”
by Professor Santi Suasaming, Representative of the Office of Sheikhul Islam of Thailand,
- participating in leadership and capacity building organized by the Thai Students' Association in Jordan
- visiting historical, religious and cultural sites in Ajlun to learn more about Jordan's best practices in muticulturalism and diversity.

เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางจิราพร จิรำไพกูล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน และคู่สมรส เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติและสร้างเครือข่ายแก่คณะเอกอัครราชทูตต่างประเทศ ในจอร์แดน พร้อมคู่สมรส ได้แก่ เอกอัครราชทูตและคู่สมรสจากสหราชอาณาจักร เยเมน อิรัก เม็กซิโก เลบานอน และอียิปต์ โดยเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่คณะทูตานุทูตต่างประเทศในจอร์แดนจะได้พบปะหารือ เพิ่มพูนความสัมพันธ์ และแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง รวมทั้งแนวทางในการกระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กับคณะทูตานุทูตต่างประเทศในจอร์แดน
On 6 May 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, and spouse hosted a Networking Dinner in honour of their Excellencies Ambassadors accredited to Jordan and their spouses, namely, the Ambassadors and spouses of the UK, Yemen, Iraq, Mexico, Lebanon and Egypt.
The Networking Dinner provided another good platform for further strengthening friendship, exchanging views and promoting closer cooperation between Thailand and diplomatic missions accredited to Jordan.

เมื่อวันที่ 5 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางจิราพร จิรำไพกูล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน ได้พบหารือกับนาย Mohammad Khair Ahmad Abu Qdais คณบดีวิทยาลัย Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) กรุงอัมมาน โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาระหว่าง LTUC และวิทยาลัยชั้นนำด้านอาซีวศึกษาในประเทศไทย นอกจากนั้น ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับประเทศไทยในหมู่นักศึกษาของ LTUC โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับอาหารไทย Thai Culinary Day กับนักศึกษาในสาขาการโรงแรมและการท่องเที่ยว
ในโอกาสเดียวกัน คณบดีและผู้บริหาร LTUC ได้เชิญเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เยี่ยมชมคณะต่าง ๆ ของวิทยาลัย ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการเรียนการสอนในด้านอาชีวศึกษาเพื่อรองรับความต้องการในตลาดงานของจอร์แดน อาทิ สาขาการท่องเที่ยวและการโรงแรม ช่างซ่อมรถ ช่างกลและช่างไฟฟ้า สิ่งทอและการตัดเย็บสิ่งทอ เครื่องสำอางและการเสริมสวย เป็นต้น

On 5 May 2026,
Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, held a courtesy meeting with Mr. Mohammad Khair Ahmad Abu Qdais, President of Luminus Technical University College (LTUC).
Both sides explored means and ways to enhance cooperation between LTUC and leading technical colleges in Thailand, as well as the plan to launch projects to promote Thailand among LTUC students. This includes the “Thai Culinary Day” project, which aims to introduce students in the School of Hospitality and Tourism of LTUC to Thai cuisine.

On the same occasion, the President and Executive members of the LTUC invited Her Excellency Ambassador of Thailand to visit departments within LTUC, including School of Hospitality and Tourism, Department of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering, Department of Garment and Design, Departments of Cosmetics and Beauty.
These departments
aim to train and transfer technical and professional knowledge to students in order to cater and equip them for Jordan’s job market.

เนื่องในโอกาสวันฉัตรมงคล วันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัมมาน จัดพิธีถวายเครื่องราชสักการะ วางพานพุ่ม และลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว โดยมีนางจิราพร จิรำไพกูล เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เป็นประธาน พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และคู่สมรส เข้าร่วมพิธีฯ

Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, presided over the ceremony to commemorate the Auspicious Anniversary of the Coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, the tenth monarch of the Royal House of Chakri,
at the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman. Officials of the Embassy and their spouses also participated in the aforementioned ceremony, which falls on 4 May of every year.
