er self-determination and to successfully plan for future of the youths, as well as to contribute in building our country at the level of humanitarian,
scientific and technical development and progress also to be part of the national production process, as we feel that the time has come to learn the lessons of the past and its mistakes due to the failure of realizing the importance of dialogue as a means of understanding , in addition to the vast marginalization of the role of youths in public life, revealing the weakness and the limited role of youths in political, social and economic movements. Youths’ involvement in the civil Society Organizations and institutions is still limited and their representation as well as their role in building and implementing the thought of social democracy and reform did not deviate from the theoretical frameworks of traditional approaches and did not impose a new reality, which will not fit our situation. Therefore we seek to free the minds for all its chains accomplishing by that; democracy, social development, cultural enrichment, liberated knowledge and free thinking. The initiative will enhance the guidance of the National Democracy among young people, especially silent majorities or the abstained groups. We will work to develop their vision and their position on the major issues in one hand and on the society as a whole in the other to develop a democratic, social enlightenment environment in a way to prepare the generations and young leaderships for a better tomorrow. Objectives:

1- Raise the awareness level of youths on Social Democratic principles.
2- Create young leaderships and encourage them to engage in public life.
3- Promote the dialogue among the different generations and enhance the youths’ role and their participation in economical and social development and progress.
4- Encourage the political participation and the public to monitor, for all.
5- Access to communication and media means for youths effectively to pass their knowledge and experience to the society

نحن مجموعة من الشباب نعلن عن تأسيس شبكة (شباب من أجل الديمقراطية الاجتماعية) وهي مبادرة تعنى بتطوير القيم والأفكار والسلوكيات الفضلى وتعميمها في كافة أماكن تواجدنا .

إن نشر الثقافة الديمقراطية الاجتماعية هو جزء من عملية التقدم والتنمية على كافة الصعد , أننا نضع نصب أعيننا نشر الثقافة السياسية والديمقراطية الاجتماعية بين جمهور الشباب لتواكب جهود الإصلاح الإقتصادي والإداري والإجتماعي ، لنشارك في تقرير مصيرنا ومستقبلنا في المكان الذي نعيش فيه والمساهمة في بناء بلدنا على صعيد التنمية البشرية وفي التقدم العلمي والتقني والإنتاج القومي ، إذ أننا نشعر بأنه قد حان الوقت لتعلم دروس الماضي وأخطائه والتي أصابت مجتمعاتنا الحقت بنا بسبب عدم اتخاذ الحوار وسيلة للتفاهم إلى جانب تهميش دور الشباب في الحياة العامة ، كاشفة ضعف دور الشباب ومحدودية أثر , وتواصلهم مع الحركات السياسية والإجتماعية والإقتصادية .
كما أن انخراطهم في مؤسسات المجتمع المدني والعمل التطوعي على العموم ما زال محصوراً وصوتهم ودورهم في بناء وترسيخ الفكر الديمقراطية الاجتماعية والإصلاح لم يخرج عن الأطر النظرية التقليدية ولم يفرض واقعاً جديداً , فلن يصلح حالنا إلا بما صلح به حال غيرنا ونعني الحرية والديمقراطية الاجتماعية والعلم والثقافة والمعرفة المتحررة من القيود العقل والتفكير .
ستعمل المبادرة على تعزيز التوجيه الوطني الديمقراطي في صفوف الشباب وخصوصاً ما يطلق عليهم "الأغلبية الصامتة" أو المستنكفة وسوف نعمل على بلورة رؤيتهم وموقفهم من القضايا والهموم الرئيسية خاصة والمجتمع ككل بشكل عام والعمل من أجل بيئة ديمقراطية أجتماعية تنويرية مؤهلة لإفراز القيادات والأجيال الجديرة بأردن المستقبل .

1- رفع نسبة وعي الشباب حول مبادئ الديمقراطية الاجتماعية .
2- إعداد القيادات الشبابية والتشجيع على المشاركة في الحياة العامة .
3- تعزيز الحوار بين مختلف الأجيل وتعزيز دور الشباب ومساهمتهم في التنمية والتقدم السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي .
4- التشجيع على المشاركة السياسية والرقابة الشعبية لجميع شرائح المجتمع .
5- تمكين الشباب من استخدام وسائل الاتصال والاعلام بشكل فعال لنقل معارفهم وتجاربهم الى المجتمع .
