📰 تُعدّ حرية الصحافة ركيزة أساسية من ركائز الديمقراطية . إذ تواصل بلجيكا -بصفتها عضواً في ائتلاف حرية الإعلام- العمل بنشاط لتعزيز حرية الصحافة داخل البلاد وخارجها. كما تشكّل حرية التعبير والإعلام أساساً لا غنى عنه لتحقيق السلام والتنمية والأمن.

تساهم سفارة بلجيكا في الأردن في هذه الجهود من خلال دعمها إلى جانب شركائها مثل مركز حماية وحرية الصحفيين لمؤتمر مستقبل الإعلام والاتصال خلال السنوات الماضية، بما يعزّز الحوار حول سلامة الصحفيين وأهمية الصحافة القائمة على التحقق من المعلومات.

📰 Press freedom is a fundamental pillar of democracy. As a member of the Media Freedom Coalition , Belgium is working actively to promote press freedom at home and abroad. Press freedom and freedom of expression are essential foundations for peace, development, and security.

In Jordan, the Embassy of Belgium contributes to these efforts by supporting together with partners such as the Centre for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ) , the Future of Media and Communications Conference in recent years, fostering dialogue on journalists’ safety and fact-based reporting.

أعرب المستشار السياسي لدى السفارة البلجيكية السيد ناثان راسكينيه، عن تقديره لحفاوة الاستقبال التي لقيها في مدرسة راهبات الوردية في جبل عمان خلال احتفالها بالفرنكوفونية.
وقد أبدع المعلمون والطلبة وأولياء الأمور في إبراز قيم التنوع والانفتاح التي تعكسها اللغة الفرنسية، بل وعرّفونا كذلك على بعض المفردات البلجيكية مثل " la drache " أي المطر الغزير

FR: Notre conseiller politique, Nathan Rasquinet, est honoré de l’accueil chaleureux que lui a réservé l’école du Rosaire à Jabal Amman, à l’occasion de sa célébration de la Francophonie.
Les professeurs, les élèves et les parents ont réellement mise en avant les valeurs de diversité et d’ouverture de la langue française, et nous ont même appris un peu de vocabulaire belge – la drache !

EN: Our political counsellor, Nathan Rasquinet, was honored by the warm welcome he received from the Rosary School in Jabal Amman during its celebration of the Francophonie.
The teachers, students, and parents truly brought to life the values of diversity and openness of the French language and even taught us some Belgian vocabulary – la drache (a heavy rain) !

On the occasion of the 66th birthday of His Majesty King Philippe, King of the Belgians, the Belgian Royal Palace released a new photograph with Princess Eléonore marking their birthdays and recreating a photo first taken in 2016.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation, Maxime Prévot, visited Jordan as part of a regional tour that also included Lebanon.

During a meeting with his counterpart, H.E. Mr Ayman Safadi, the strategic and strong bilateral relations between Belgium and Jordan were underlined. Both ministers had an in-depth discussion on the political, humanitarian and economic consequences of recent regional developments, including the worrying situation in the West Bank and in Lebanon, while assessing the possibility of joint actions. Maxime Prévot stressed Belgium and Jordan’s shared respect for international law and humanitarian principals, as well as the importance of de-escalation and long-term stability across the region.

DPM Maxime Prévot also honoured our embassy with a visit and a meeting with the staff.

قام نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية والشؤون الأوروبية والتعاون الإنمائي في بلجيكا، مكسيم بريفو، بزيارة الى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ضمن جولة إقليمية شملت أيضاً الجمهورية اللبنانية.

وخلال لقائه بنظيره نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين الأردني أيمن الصفدي ، تم التأكيد على متانة العلاقات الثنائية والشراكة الاستراتيجية التي تجمع بين بلجيكا والأردن. كما بحث الجانبان بالتفصيل التداعيات السياسية والانسانية والاقتصادية للتطورات الأخيرة في المنطقة، بما في ذلك الأوضاع المقلقة في الضفة الغربية ولبنان، واستعرضا سبل تعزيز التنسيق والعمل المشترك.

وأكد بريفو على القيم المشتركة بين البلدين وفي مقدمتها احترام القانون الدولي والمبادئ الإنسانية مشدداً على أهمية خفض التصعيد والعمل من أجل تحقيق الاستقرار المستدام في المنطقة.

كما تشرفت سفارة بلجيكا باستقبال الوزير بريفو في مقرّها في عمّان حيث التقى بفريق العمل.
