H.E. Dato' Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman was pleased to receive H.E. Mr. Davood Habib Kalantari, Chargé d’Affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for a courtesy call and constructive discussion on bilateral relations and regional developments.

The meeting reflected the longstanding friendship and strong ties between Malaysia and Iran, underpinned by mutual respect, shared values, and close people-to-people relations. Discussions also highlighted the importance of continued dialogue, diplomacy, and cooperation in addressing regional challenges and promoting peace and stability.

Malaysia remains committed to fostering meaningful engagement and strengthening bilateral cooperation with Iran across various sectors for the mutual benefit of both nations. 🇲🇾🇮🇷

On 21 May 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Amman was pleased to host an engagement luncheon with representatives from Jordan’s leading healthcare institutions to strengthen cooperation and explore new opportunities for collaboration between Malaysia and Jordan in the medical and healthcare sector.

The discussions focused on medical tourism, digital healthcare, halal pharmaceuticals, healthcare management, medical education, and capacity building, reflecting the strong potential for meaningful partnerships between both countries.

The Embassy also shared Malaysia’s commitment towards enhancing healthcare cooperation among OIC member states and ongoing efforts to conclude the Malaysia–Jordan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on health cooperation.

We look forward to strengthening our ties and working together for the benefit of both nations. 🇲🇾🇯🇴

On 13 May 2026, H.E. Dato’ Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan and Palestine, hosted a luncheon meeting at Tamara, St. Regis, Amman. The Meeting was attended by several Heads of Mission accredited to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Meeting discussed the latest situation in the Middle East, trade cooperation and tourism promotion with Jordan.
