On February 24, 2026, a signing ceremony regarding participation in the 2027 International Horticultural Expo was held at the Embassy of Jordan. The agreement was signed between H.E. Ambassador Shuraideh of Jordan and Mr. Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Government Commissioner, and Mr. Masato Kawamura, Secretary-General of the International Horticultural Expo 2027 Association
Following our participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Jordan will continue to share its rich nature and creativity with the world.

2026年2月24日、ヨルダン大使館にて、シュライデ駐日ヨルダン大使と、2027年国際園芸博覧会協会 越川和彦政府委員、河村正人事務総長の間で、同博覧会参加に関する調印式が執り行われました。
2025年大阪万博に続き、ヨルダンの自然と創造性を世界へ発信してまいります。

On February 4th, 2026, Ambassador Shraideh attended the opening of the photography exhibition “Nippon – Ambassadors’ Eyes 2025” at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
The exhibition presents Japan through the perspectives of resident diplomats under the theme “Rhythm of Life in Japan,” highlighting diverse impressions captured through photography.

2026年2月4日、シュライデ大使は横浜赤レンガ倉庫にて開催された写真展「にっぽん―大使たちの視線2025」のオープニングに出席しました。
本展示は、「日本の暮らしのリズム」をテーマに、駐日外交官たちの視点を通して捉えられた多様な日本の姿を写真で紹介するものです。

On January 31st, Ambassador Shraideh attended the opening ceremony of the “Tottori Sand Pavilion – Osaka–Kansai Expo Memorial” at Yumeminato Tower in Tottori Prefecture. The pavilion features red sand from the Jordan Pavilion together with immersive projection mapping and interactive experiences from the Tottori Zone, highlighting the spirit of international friendship fostered through the Expo.

1月31日、シュライデ大使は、鳥取県の夢みなとタワーで開催された「鳥取砂のパビリオン―大阪・関西万博記念―」のオープニングセレモニーに出席しました。本パビリオンでは、ヨルダン館で展示された赤い砂をはじめ、鳥取ゾーンの没入型プロジェクションマッピングやインタラクティブな体験を通じて、万博を通じて育まれた国際的な友好の精神が紹介されています。

On September 17, 2025, Ambassador Shraideh paid a courtesy call on Minister of Defense Nakatani. They exchanged views on the progress of defense cooperation and exchanges between Jordan and Japan, and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership and enhancing cooperation toward peace and stability.

2025年9月17日、シュライデ大使は中谷防衛大臣を表敬訪問しました。日ヨルダン間の防衛協力・交流の進展について協議し、戦略的パートナーシップの強化、平和と安定の為のさらなる協力について確認しました。

On November 27th, Ambassador Nasser Shraideh had the honor of presenting Letters of Credence to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. The Embassy will continue our efforts to deepen friendship and cooperation between our two nations.

11月27日、ナーセル・シュライデ大使は、天皇陛下に信任状を捧呈する栄に浴しました。当館は今後とも、両国間の友好関係および協力関係の深化に向けて尽力してまいります。

On December 8, 2025, Ambassador Shraideh visited RIKEN, Japan’s leading research and development institute, and held discussions with President Dr. Makoto Gonokami on potential collaboration between Jordan and the institute. Among the topics discussed, they exchanged views on ways to deepen cooperation in the fields of science and technology.

2025年12月8日、シュライデ大使は日本を代表する研究機関である理化学研究所（RIKEN）を訪れ、五神真理事長とヨルダンとの今後の連携の可能性について意見交換を行いました。両者は、科学技術分野における協力を一層深化させるための方策について意見を交わしました。
