Established in 1993, the festival is held biennially. Originally held in Toyama, the 12th Japan Wildlife Film Festival will be held in Tokyo.

After a worrying cancer removal surgery. Danjuro (our organisations presidents 11 year old Labrador) is back to his usual antics in a head turning outfit.

1853 entries to the 2015 Japan Wildlife Film Festival.
Only 30+ entries will be nominated and shown during the festival.
We would like to thank everyone for taking the time and effort to enter their hard work to our festival.
P.S. The final nomination list will be out end of February.
We are now in search for new 4k content to be broadcasted in Japan next year in March.
If you have any programs in 4k which hasn't been shown elsewhere. Please contact us as soon as possible.
We will be sending out emails later with the details.
Wildscreen's WWF Golden Panda Award Winner is "On a River in Ireland".
They also won the top award at Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival last year.
Can they conquer our festival in August 2015?
We are still open for entry, and we now have 946 entries with 94 entries in the past 7 days.
Thats triple the amount of what we had last festival and still counting.
Simply amazing!
