This page is run by UNAGI ("unagi-no-nedoko"), a local business based in Yame City (Fukuoka), introducing new approaches to traditional arts and crafts from the region such as textile (kurume-kasuri), pottery, bamboo ware and much more. Our philosophy is to stay close not only with our customers but also with the craftsmen and artists in which some are on the verge of closing their businesses due to the decline of demands. We wish to share information of these beautiful people, places and products we have discovered in this region with the international community, and look forward to exchange ideas with other areas of the world. You can find more information on our shop in Yame and also our online store (*English will follow soon) at our website! website: http://unagino-nedoko.net/
