To the great people of Bomet County, I have the honor to present to you someone you'll like most, prefer and ultimately vote for in her bid to be the next Women Rep Bomet County (MP).
She's the most articulate, astute and candid of all the aspirants we've checked so far, to be entrusted with the seat.
As a teacher, and a resident of our county, Chebaibai stands to be the most outstanding based on her deeply rooted touch/interaction with the people in our villages (ground), she comprehend all the challenges faced by our people and especially women in our society. To best evaluate her candidacy for the seat, she has done quite a comprehensive manifesto that satisfy our unflinching support for her. She has articulated a raft of issues affecting our women and coined a concept of "Gender in Development" which demystify the previous understanding/approach on how women should be engaged in development issues, a revolutional shift from "Women in Development" concept.
To our assessment, her manifesto doesn't just cover the aforementioned conceptual shifts in Women issues but most importantly, an elaborate, clear & precise frameworks coupled with Strategies on how she intend to strike such a transformation in our societies. Notably, her manifesto is well nuanced to keep with C.o.K 2010, articles 97, 100, and 27(3)(6). Briefly, it touches on topical concerns like; Education, Economic Empowerment, Women and Labour, Women and water, Community Initiated Projects & self-help Groups, Affirmative Action Plans, Women and Agriculture, Women and Healthcare, Support for widows and single mothers,Strategic Database Management System et cetera. All these points have been discussed elaborately.
Now, speaking to our electorates from all our five Sub-Counties; Sotik, Chepalungu, Bomet East & finally, Bomet Central, let's hasten to unwaveringly support Joan Chebaibai based on her capacity to deliver as exemplified through her previous works and community building engagements. Ooh lest I forget😅, Chebaibai is a likeable, admirable, and a joyful lady with an infectiously "ready-smile" on anyone who knocks at her door for help.
for Women Rep.
Kazi ni Kazi emet🤗
