UKCS must be revived. We can bring back this Union through election of fresh and strong leaders.

Whatever Atwoli is smoking nowdays or whoever is advicing him has totaly failed. Can this old man respect his age. I watched the Labour day celebrations yesterday and it was total nonsense. The entire celebration was turned into political rally. Atwoli spending most of his time abusing others. I think this old man is over staying on that seat. It is high time he steps down and allow others to steer the union. He has become stale minded with no idealogys at all. We were not interested what taste you have? Please give us a brrak old man.

We need a new national elections to put our union in order

According to the constitution of union of kenya civil servants. We are a neutral organisation that support the government of the day. It is now a fact that our secratery General Hon. Tom odege is a sitting member of parliament of nyatike. We kindly ask him to resign and step down with immidiate effect. Faikure to do that we are going to seek legal reddress. Meanwhile our union is in the verge of collapse. It no more address the plight of members. It has been used as a tool to advance people's political mileage. Junior civil servants in this country face a lot of problems due to little salary and allowances they earn. it exposes them to a life of surviving between hand and mouth. While our politicians,top civil servants and parastatal chiefs swim in riches, drive heavy cars, live in posh houses and mansions using tax payers money. This has attracted alot of inequality in Kenya today. The gap between the haves and the have nots is so wide and widening further daily. When we request salary and allowance increase we are told there is no money. But a politician and a principal Secretary can. claim a night out of one million in a press of a button. This kind of discrimination and exploitation must come to an end Even getting a promotion is a nightmare, years flow by and we mark time in the same job group till retirement on age ground catches up with us. Salary and enumeration commission is in slumber land, just eating tax payers money for doing nothing. Surely members we cannot keep silent anymore, the time is now, the moment has come that we should all rise and demand for our rights. it is time we unite and stand as one to map our destiny. I am willing to offer all my energy to rally for that which is rightly ours. I hereby seek your support to win this elections so that I am empowered to push for this objectives. Junior civil servants continue to earn less than former employees of local authorities. Sarah serem has kept her cool. pro.otio s have stagnated and no one is taking any action. Iam very keen on this. matter. something must be done.

many devolved staff have not earned any promotion since they were devolved. we have been following this issue but what we get is false promises.

Is salaries and enumeration commission still in office? Just wondering, it is missing in action.
