𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗨 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗧𝗬.

Following the industrial action that commenced on 13th May, we are pleased to inform the public that multiple health workers’ unions signed a formal return-to-work agreement following the recent industrial action.

Under the agreement, the unions committed to call off the strike and have their members return to work immediately. The parties have signed a formal agreement to maintain industrial harmony, ensure good-faith negotiations moving forward, and commit to continuous, amicable engagement on all labor matters, also includes protections against intimidation, victimization or disciplinary action against workers who participated in the strike.

The agreement was signed by representatives from several unions including KUCO, KNUNM, KNUPT, KNUMLO and KUNAD, marking a major step towards restoration of normal healthcare services across Embu County. To our valued Embu residents: we remain deeply committed to ensuring smooth, efficient, and effective health service delivery. Thank you for your patience and support.
