The Campus today officially welcomed the 4th Cohort of NTSA Officers for a one-week Induction Course aimed at strengthening their knowledge, skills, and understanding of public service delivery.
The programme was officially opened by Mr. John Napoo, Deputy Director, Learning and Development, who emphasized the importance of induction in equipping officers with the values, expectations, and competencies required to effectively undertake their roles within the institution.
The programme is designed to equipe officers with essential knowledge on organizational culture, ethics, teamwork, and service delivery to support effective performance in their roles.
Also present during the opening session were Mr. Kennedy Mukangai and Mr. Mr. Pharis Ndwiga from the Training Department.

Today, a delegation from the Probation and Aftercare Service led by the Director, PACS Rift Valley Region, Dr. Florence Mueni, paid a courtesy call to the Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, and officially presided over the opening of a week-long Training of Trainers Programme.
Dr. Mueni was accompanied by the Deputy Director, PACS, John K. Gacheru, and the Baringo County Director, Mr. Ezekiel Thaimuta.

Preparing public officers for a smooth, informed, and fulfilling transition into retirement remains at the heart of our training programmes.
Today marked the successful conclusion of the week-long Retirement Planning Programme at the campus, officially closed in the presence of the Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, and Dr. Eddah Cheruiyot.
Throughout the programme, participants were equipped with practical knowledge and valuable insights on financial preparedness, personal wellness, investment opportunities, and life beyond active service. The training created an important platform for reflection, planning, and empowerment as officers prepare for the next chapter of their lives with confidence and purpose.
We congratulate all participants for their commitment and active engagement and wish them success as they apply the lessons gained from the programme.

Government communication is important in ensuring transparency, building public trust, and keeping citizens informed about policies and programs. It helps institutions share accurate information clearly while also creating space for feedback and engagement with the public.
Today, Mr. Pharis Ndwiga, a faculty member at the School, held an interactive session with participants attending a week-long induction program. The session allowed for practical discussions, exchange of ideas, and deeper understanding of key aspects of government communication.
The induction program is designed to orient participants to the roles, responsibilities, and expectations within government service.
It provides a foundation in key areas such as communication, ethics, and service delivery, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties effectively and contribute to efficient, accountable, and citizen-centered governance.

The Campus Director, Dr. Wesley Kiprop, presided over the closing ceremony of Senior Management Course No. 228/2025, capped off with a lively evening celebration.
In his remarks, he urged participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course in their respective roles, uphold high standards of leadership and integrity, and continue promoting collaboration and innovation within their institutions.
Earlier in the day, the group visited Lake Baringo, where they enjoyed intriguing boat rides, taking in the scenic views and observing the diverse aquatic life along the lake.
The next class is scheduled to commence on May 11th โ June 5th 2026.
