Honoured to have interacted with women drawn from the three villages of Koisamoi, Koitabmat and Sachangwan; who had gathered at Koitabmat Primary School in Ainamoi Ward, Ainamoi Constituency, to plan for their upcoming empowerment support programme.

Uplifting women in Self Help Groups drives economic independence and strengthens household well being.

We gathered today at Kiburet Village in Ainamoi Ward, Ainamoi Constituency, to celebrate a life that didn’t just pass through time, but truly conquered it.

At 101 years old, Martha Taptuei Maina was more than just the matriarch of her family—she was a living piece of history, a sanctuary of wisdom, and a masterclass in how to live fully.

Mama Martha shaped generations, and taught us all what true strength and grace look like. Though she has passed on, her legacy remains woven into the very fabric of her family.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Paid a visit to the home of my friend; Former Bureti Member Of Parliament Hon. Leonard Sang Panadol, at Korongoi Village in Cheboin Ward, Bureti Constituency, to check on his father, Mwalimu Zacharia Chepngok, who has been ill for sometime.

Mzee Zacharia is a man of great strength, and we are praying for his swift healing and positive energy.

I was in the company of The Area MCA Hon Francis Terer Sirinjit and Kapkatet Ward MCA Hon Amos Birir.

We came together today at Chebitet Village in Chepseon Ward, Kipkelion East Constituency, not only to mourn a loss, but to rejoice in a life beautifully lived in service to others and to God.

The Late Sarah Chepkurui Maritim was a woman of profound faith, quiet strength and immense dignity. For her, faith was the foundation of how she treated every person she encountered. Her life was an earthly reflection of grace, patience, and unconditional love.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that her pain is over and she has peace in her eternal home. Her physical journey has ended, but the spiritual legacy she leaves behind will continue to guide her family for generations to come.

May her soul rest in eternal glory.
