🏆 FiRe Awards 2025: Celebrating Kibwezi East Constituency for Financial Excellence

Kibwezi East NG CDF emerged winner in outstanding financial reporting in this year’s FiRe Awards in the constituencies category. The FiRe Awards are East Africa’s most respected recognition for high quality financial reporting. The awards, presented during an evening gala at Safari Park Hotel, honor organizations that show strong accountability, transparency, and integrity in their financial reports.

Kibwezi East led the category. Ikolomani ranked second. Cherengany ranked third.

Special recognition went to Kitui Central and Homa Bay Town.

On Friday, Hon. Jessica Mbalu, alongside her fellow MPs from the Committee on Environment, Forestry, and Mining, had the privilege of engaging the Cabinet Secretary for Environment and key agencies on Supplementary Estimates No. II for the Financial Year 2024/25.
