🧯🔥In line with H.E. Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir Fire Disaster Risk Management directive on schools in the county ,Transport, Infrastructure & Governance CECM Mr Dan Manyala led a team of county fire and emergency officers to Mama Ngina Girls High School to assess the institution's preparedness in the event of a fire and rescue emergency.

While this phase will be focusing on boarding institutions to direct immediate corrective safety measures, it prepares ground for a comprehensive countywide roll-out.

Phase 2 will scale up to encompass all remaining learning institutions across Mombasa. This will cover all public and private primary schools, junior schools, secondary schools, colleges, vocational training centers, and universities.

Like the current baseline inspections, Phase 2 will be entirely free of charge. Concurrently, the County Government is strictly enforcing EPRA guidelines banning the unauthorized sale of petrol to eliminate fire hazards from our communities.
