As we come to the end of 2025, the End Malaria Council thanks every Kenyan who has played a role in preventing and treating malaria, in homes, in communities, and in health facilities across the country.

This year, we made important strides together. We brought leaders and partners together to strengthen the fight against malaria, carried out larviciding efforts in Busia in partnership with the National Malaria Control Programme- Kenya , and began identifying border areas where new clinics will be built to improve access to care. Each step taken has helped protect families, save lives, and bring services closer to those who need them most.

These gains remind us that ending malaria is possible when we act together, as citizens, communities, and a nation.

As we usher in the new year, we remain committed to working with you to keep malaria prevention a daily habit and timely treatment a shared priority. With continued unity and action, we can protect our loved ones and move closer to a malaria-free Kenya.

Cheers to a healthier, stronger 2026, and , together.

Forum theatre sessions formed the backbone of our community engagement during the early stages of the .
Using live, improvised drama, actors recreated everyday malaria experiences, prompting audience members to step in, share their views, and suggest solutions, all guided by a skilled facilitator.
