Coward Uhuru Recalls Alcoblow After DCI/NTSA Coct By Derrcy katieno
Coward President Uhuru Kenyatta has recalled his delusional project targeting motorists who drive under the influence of alcohol. The project that has recently come under fire as an extortion check-point, now faces an uncertain future as a row is simmering between National Transport & Safety Authority and the Directorate of Criminal Investigation. It has always baffled Kenyans how President Uhuru Kenyatta, a known functional-alcoholic and chain smoker, would walk the moral high-ground and enforce a redundant directive, selectively targeting the middle-class who drive personal vehicles that don’t cause as many accidents as public vehicles. The NTSA headed by Uhuru’s buddy Lee Kinyanjui conveniently overlooks public vehicles with serious flaws and targets the middle-class as a means to extort Kenyans, rumors are rife that over Kshs. 2 million is collected in a single day, in the form of bribes and fines. Jails that should be occupied by terrorists and criminals, are now being used by the Uhuru regime to harass civilised and peace-loving Kenyans. At the centre of the recent row is murmurs that NTSA officials have arrested senior DCI officials including their families, at the roadblock mounted just outside the headquarters along Kiambu Road. Members of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) have also been victims when the roadblock was mounted at Ruaraka, a sad state of affairs considering that their intelligence gathering also details interacting with Kenyans at social-gatherings. We also recently ran a piece of how Buffet Park/Tamasha in Hurlingham, an establishment that has been in existence since the Moi era, shut down after Alcoblow roadblocks were erected in the Kilimani area, a move meant to sabotage their operation giving space to Kiza Lounge owned by Nigerians linked to Statehouse. Indeed, many connected bar owners/operators are said to bribe senior NTSA officials to place the extortion check-points away from their vicinity. On Friday night/Saturday morning, a massive crackdown on Museum Hill/KBC/Uhuru Highway saw close associates of President Kenyatta being nailed, which prompted Saturdaynight/Sunday morning’s absence of NTSA checkpoints. Users and fans of “Alcoblow Watch” didn’t record or post of any extortion checkpoint anywhere on the night of Saturday 12th March/morning of Sunday 13th, simply because Uhuru’s friends were arrested. Ladies and gentlemen, shall Kenya continue to operate like this, at the discretion of Uhuru and his friends and sycophants? Would you as a Kenyan who was forced to part with Kshs. 30,000.00 out of your hard-earned savings, ever vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta again, even if he was your tribesmate? Why does it seem that Uhuru is targeting members of his tribe by mounting roadblocks and killing Kikuyu-owned businesses? Of what use is it to have a Kikuyu President if your community has had to endure pain and suffering of a dead economy and selective laws like Alcoblow, yet corrupt Governors, MPigs, etc roam freely?

MUNGARO TRYS TO RECLAIM LOST GLORY
After failing to deliver in his home ground in Malindi, Kilifi north member of parliament Gideon maitha mungaro who is also said to be eyeing the Kilifi gubernatorial seat via jubilee ticket Is now under pressure to convince the jubilee party that all is not lost in the region. The former ODM chief whip who is currently nursing political injuries is now torn between two sides; some of his close political allies in fact have held a number of closed door meetings with him, reasons to woo him to announce his political future after heavy political crash in the just concluded malindi by election. Some close source indicates that in the recent press briefing and meetings he has been alone because his close allies now feels the self-proclaimed jubilee point in the region is not fit to wear the region hat. This has seen him trying to remain vibrant by coming out to condemn Mombasa governor Hassan Joho for ignoring security personnel order in the ongoing gun drama. According to political temperature in Kilifi County after the malindi by election where ODM washed them politically the residence now wants him to apologize for participating in dirty jubilee politics which only base in empty promise to woo voters and not walking the talk. According to unnamed close crony to the member is that he is planning to hold several meetings with Kilifi youths to seek the government attention again and calm political instigation before general election.

The Metamorphosis of Ababu Namwamba
Money, politics, and the head are three strange combinations, nay, no they are heterogeneous. If you you threw stones at your chemistry teacher, then heterogeneous means “do not mix” in the parlance of daily communicators I dare not mention here. Ababu, like many others before him is a victim of the heterogeneity of the three above. I happen to personally know Ababu Namwamba, having met him while he was studying in Washington DC. His metamorphosis is both tangential and shocking. We never thought much of Ababu whenever we met at the then Safari Club, a Luhya run entity in Washington DC. He struggled with the rest of the folks, which is normal in the land of milk and honey. Whenever “Baba” came to DC, Ababu and my turncoat sister, name withheld were like the Ivan Pavlov’s dog; the classically conditioned, omnipresent, and ever expectant baba following canines. Ababu then had two things, he had the politics and his head intact above his shoulders. Fast forward; the Pavlov dog returned to Kenya after his studies and rode the back of “baba” to become one of the youngest members of parliaments of our time. The third component slowly started to creep in, MONEY! Ababu, who hitch hiked while in Washington DC put his fingers, then hands in the honey jar. He started wearing suits which hitherto he could only admire from the windows of Cloud Nine and other namely fashion houses. And with the money, the head has refused to listen to the heart. Ababu the fiery foot soldier turned captain may go into the annuls of Kenyan political history as a young ambitious man who grew before his time, but his early growth may become his bane.

IT IS REGISTRAION AT POLLING STATION OR NOTHING; NIS MUST KEEP OFF;
CORD STATEMENT ON UPCOMING VOTER REGISTRATION EXERCISE; JANUARY 11, 2016.
In Kenya, the sole agency for the registration of voters is the IEBC.
In the run up to 2013 elections, the IEBC procured only 15,000 BVR kits to be used in some 34, 000 polling stations. The distribution of those kits left a lot to be desired.
Last week, we challenged the IEBC to come clean on a number of issues ahead of the voter registration that kicks off in about a month. So far, it has remained tight-lipped.
We are here to restate our demands, based on information we have gathered in the last few days on the upcoming registration. It is our position that the IEBC is not ready to conduct free, fair and credible elections, in line with the recommendations of the Kriegler Commission, the demands of our constitution and the expectations of Kenyans.
Since 2013, the IEBC has done nothing to procure more registration kits to cover all polling stations in the country. About 18 months to the elections, and about a month to the first major voter registration since last elections, the IEBC is still stuck with just 15,000 BVR kits, whose status nobody knows. IEBC is not ready even for the voter registration.
A meeting it convened with representatives of political parties in Naivasha today has faltered on account of IEBC being unable to present a new and credible plan of action, backed by demonstrable capacity to register voters.
At the Naivasha meeting, the IEBC has been unable to explain how it will assign BVR kits to all polling stations. There is no clear policy of distribution of BVR kits. The IEBC is non-committal about opening up the registration exercise to international observers. These are critical pointers to the lack of neutrality on the part of the IEBC and its lack of readiness for the polls.
We want the IEBC to immediately come clean on the number of registration centers for the February-March voter registration exercise, how those centres have been selected and their distribution across the country and the various constituencies. We want the IEBC to immediately come clean on the number of registration centers for the February-March voter registration exercise and how those centres have been selected and the distribution.
IEBC must come out immediately and tell Kenyans the mode of registration; whether it shall be manual or biometric keeping in mind that by law, elections are supposed to be conducted through electronic means. The IEBC must come clean on how the registration kits will be distributed across the country.
Information we have, and which we challenge the IEBC to confirm or deny, is that the IEBC plans to deploy one registration kit per ward in parts of the country perceived to be supportive of the Opposition. This simply won’t work. It is a window dressing exercise that is meant to create an impression that registration of voters did take place when in reality nothing happens.
We demand that the voter registration exercise set for February is done at the polling station and not ward level. We demand clarity, well aware that in the run up to 2013, the IEBC presided over an overwhelmingly skewed distribution of voter registration kits. While Central Kenya had at least one registration kit per polling station, other parts of the country had one kit shared by four to five polling stations. The ground seems being laid for that. We shall not accept it.
It is our position that if the IEBC is experiencing genuine challenges with mobilization of resources for this vital exercise, they must demand funding from Supplementary Budget to enable it conduct a credible exercise that meets expectations of the people. If the registration exercise will be electronic, and it has to be, we need the IEBC to state the condition of the kits. We cannot rely on the same failed kits of 2013 or another set that has been designed to fail.
We also have disturbing information of the involvement of the National Intelligence Service in the voter registration activities in the same way they did in the run up to 2013 elections. We challenge the IEBC to confirm or deny that NIS officers are being trained in batches of 100 people and are being targeted for recruitment as Presiding officers, Returning officers and registration clerks with a sole responsibility to manipulate numbers and names in favor of Jubilee.
In this regard, we want the IEBC to explain to Kenyans the logic behind deployment of its officers to regions of their birth. We sense a nasty plan to aid the registration of under-age voters particularly in parts of the country where virtually every eligible voter was registered in 2013 and now has no new voter to add. As a Coalition, we ask the IEBC to come to terms with the weight of the responsibility bestowed on it. We urge the IEBC to read the mood of the nation and act accordingly. These acts of opacity, manifestations of involvement in a conspiracy to tilt the electoral landscape will back fire and the cost may be too high for the country.

Sen David Musila, Wiper Democratic Party.
