Let's all of us Embrace and face The reality and stop living in Denial. As it STANDS now and for the Next FIVE years *Starehe Mp is Non other Than Hon Amos Amos Mwago*. Let's stop being like *Qatar* who were given 12years to prepare for the World Cup but they ended up losing to a Caribbean Country. Qatar had all the aspects of progress and neo-technology plus Uncountable Resources to win the Game but they only lacked *BRAIN* and *PLAN*. AMO IS BEST because he has *BRAIN*, *PLAN* and strategies of how to make Starehe Constituency grow from one level to another. We need to work as Team to support the Dream That Hon Mwago has for Starehe; A dream to ensure that every student and pupil in Starehe Constituency gets Better Education, A dream that will ensure Every Small and Medium Enterprises grow and Have a ample business working Environment, A dream that will ensure we have clean and enough water to each and every household, A dream that will ensure we have a Safe starehe and good roads . * *

Water shortage is a perennial issue in Starehe Constituency. I understand the cause, the problem and have a plan on how to deal. We will deliver and erase the indignity caused by lack of water to our people through working with concerned stakeholders & leaders.
During campaigns I committed to address the quantity, quality, availability & reliability of water coming into our Constituency & wards and the distribution network.
I have had meetings with the Eng Nahashon Miguna MD Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company and the ground officers in my quest to solve the perennial water shortage in Starehe. While appreciating that we have low volumes compared to the population growth in Nairobi , illegal connections and cartels are the major problem that needs to be dealt with. Soon we will be having Residents, Slums & Estates leaders meetings with the officers from the Nairobi Water so that we can all participate in finding the solutions.
