Also, this evening Senator Godfrey Osotsi joined family, friends, and residents of Busali Ward in Sabatia Constituency to mourn the late Mama Tafrotha Chanzu Musalia ahead of her burial at Kapsambo.

The Senator conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Prof. Musalia Edebe and the entire family, praying for strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Addressing mourners, Senator Osotsi reaffirmed his commitment to championing the interests of Vihiga County and the wider Luhya community. He called for unity and strategic political organization, noting that his partnership with Nairobi Senator Edwin W. Sifuna through the Abigael Gikonyo Movement is aimed at strengthening the community's voice and influence in national leadership.

Senator Godfrey Osotsi today joined two bereaved families, their friends, and mourners at Emakunda Village in Emabungo Ward and Luanda South Ward to pay his last respects to the late Thomas Okila Makabe and Hannington Ayiesta respectively.

During the funeral gatherings, Senator Osotsi called upon the Luhya community to embrace unity and rally behind Nairobi Senator Edwin W. Sifuna as part of the broader quest for stronger regional leadership, political empowerment, and a more influential voice in national affairs.

The Senator also expressed concern over the government's reported plans to establish an Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya, emphasizing the need for transparency, public participation, and adequate safeguards to protect the welfare of citizens.
