'Lucy Ngorongo is a fearless treasure hunter. She considers waste collection a treasure hunting expedition that she takes on proudly. She leads a team of about 25 men and women as the founder and CEO of @ J***y Bins- a waste management company located in Nairobi. They are on a mission to change the traditional 'throw-away' model to a sustainable, socially inclusive and environmentally sound enterprise.'

Lucy is one of the cohort 1 enterprises supported by the KCIC SWIFT Program— Sustainable Waste Innovation for a Future in Transition. The program aims at transforming waste management in Kenya through tailored support to waste enterprises and policy strengthening.
