Something extraordinary happened at the Kenya-Italy Business Forum. Deals are signed. Among the deals signed at the Kenya-Italy Business Forum is the landmark Leather Sector Development MOU and it marks a turning point for Kenya's leather industry.

For too long, Kenya has exported its finest hides and skins as raw materials, watching other nations add value and reap the rewards. That era is now over. This agreement positions Kenya to process, design, and finish leather products locally, for the world.

By partnering with Italy, the undisputed global capital of leather craftsmanship, Kenya gains access to world-class technology, design excellence, and branding expertise.
This MOU means more jobs, modernized industries, and a significant boost in exports. Most importantly, it signals Kenya's firm commitment to value addition as the engine of industrial growth.

Kenya's leather is no longer just raw material. It is a finished story of excellence, ready for the world.
