Courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Mathew Ochieng Owili on behalf of H.E. Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o received the delegation of the CPSBs-NC in Kisumu County Government on Wednesday, 25th September 2024 at the upcoming 2024 Annual Convention.

After lengthy deliberations, the Kenya County Government Workers Union agreed to call off the strike on Friday, 20/9/2024, to give dialogue a chance, subject to the development of a clear roadmap and framework for resolving the issues to be identified by technical committees as resolved in the meeting.

📢 High-Level Consultative Meeting on Remuneration for County Government Employees

Convened by the PS, State Department for Devolution, Teresia Mbaika, CBS.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss several critical matters on remuneration for county government employees.
High-level representatives from the following offices were in attendance:
1. State Department for Labour and Skills Development;
2. County Government Employees Union
3. Salaries and Remuneration Commission
4. State Department for Public Service
5. State Department for Labour and Social Protection;
6. Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC);
🤝 Together, they are working towards equitable and sustainable solutions for county employee remuneration!
Technical commitees have been formed and tasked with clear ToRs to report back within a month Strike to be called off to enable discussions and resolution of issues SRC to consult with the boards through CPSBs-NCF
