This is to inform you that the deadline for the 2024 NOVEMBER SERIES Board Exam is on Thursday, 31st October 2024. The eligible candidates are, therefore, expected to visit the Board or book exams online through E-citizen before then.

Earlier today the Chair KMLTTB, Dr. Titus Mutwiri, the Ag. Registrar Mr Patrick Kisabei and KMLTTB Directors, Dr Kenedy Muna joined the PS Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, and the PS Investment promotion, Abubakar Hassan during the opening of the MedLab East Africa Expo and Congress at KICC. The 3 days annual Expo and Conference brings together people from the Medical devices and diagnostics world in partnership with the Ministry of Health Health to showcase and market innovations and novel devices and diagnostic equipment in the medical world. The conference also has three track presentations in Laboratory management, Clinical Microbiology, Parasitology and Mycology, Molecular biology, and genomics. The conference is happening at the Tsavo room of KICC and will end on Friday 6th September.

On 2nd September 2024, the KMLTTB Chairman, Dr. Titus Mutwiri, KMLTTB Ag. Registrar, Mr. Patric Kisabei, and the KMLTTB secretariat met with USAID Uongozi Wa Afya Thabiti (UAT) Project team members Bill Ouko and Gregory Odhiambo to chart the way forward to improving institutional capacity to fulfil its mandate as outlined in the MLTT Act of 1991.
KMLTTB participated in Amref Health Africa's UAT project, which aimed to conduct a comprehensive Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) of National Health Regulatory and Oversight Institutions.
In the meeting, Bill discussed USAID and Amref's intention to collaborate with KMLTTB to strengthen Governance, Accountability, Policy, and Strategic Partnership structures, and processes at the institutional level. Dr Titus expressed KMLTTB's readiness to collaborate and partner with Amref and USAID to build the agency's capacity.
Mr Patric highlighted adopting a regional approach in collaborating with other organizational bodies to bring KMLTTB's services closer to the people as an area of immediate focus.
