NRT employers in demonstration.
After the previous court ruling that NRT is an illegal program in the community, today they gathered tens and hundreds of their employers in the town to condemn the court ruling.
Some of the community lack trust in the NRT "Northern Rangeland Trust" as they believe they might be involved in the wild fire in cherab area and illegal mining in their conservancies.
However NRT took part in trying to stop the wildfire and has been involved in the community helping them during 2023 floods, providing sponsorship to the students and bring up community projects.

Chief tries to turn "NOT FOR SELL" relief food to business.
Wabera ward kiwanjani area chaos erupted at 10.00pm on the night of 24th January 2025 after residents realized the food meant for the community was directed to one of the business woman in the area. Gun shots were fired in the air to distract residents who were hungry and angry on why the chief of the area wanted to sell their food.
It was believed that mwangaza residents received their share but when it was time for kiwanjani the boat overturned.
We call for the county commissioner to address the issue as people lack trust in the leadership of the area.
Cant imagine our senetor accepted 10M to impeach gachagua.
