Today we celebrate Jaramogi Ochoro and Junior Jadollas for their huge contribution in defending students’ welfare and standing firm for justice, even when it placed them at loggerheads with the administration.

Through the Students Organization of Maseno University (SOMU), they operated from the opposition wing side, fearlessly raising the voices of comrades and challenging issues that affected students. Their courage, resilience, and determination inspired many across campus and showed the true meaning of servant leadership.
