Mheshimiwas Agenda and Message to the people of Komarock Ward.

INTRODUCTION:
After months of deliberation and prayer about the future of our Country Kenya and especially Komarock Ward, I here now categorically make a statement on my transformational agendas for the people of Komarock. I chose to make this announcement today because it's the voice of the people of Komarock-"SAUTI YETU". And I am more confident than ever that despite our troubles, we have it within our power to make Komarock the place to be.My petition, rather, is that you, as the Komarock Ward members allow me to work with you to create a Ward where accessibility and association are key principles. Let the very mandate and vision of Komarock speak of being a Ward ‘founded by the people, for the people’.
All great endeavours start with a simple plan or what will seem at the time as a promise, but will later materialize into the very essence of Komarock Ward. Komarock Ward does not exist in isolation and resides at the heart of the Nairobi’s economy which means that it should serve the community in a vast manner. We need to pave way for plans that will deal with change in the Ward we love dearly.
I have come to share with the people of Komarock that,hard working and taxpaying families need leaders who add value their sweat. Young people, are unable to start a career, a business or a family, because they owe thousands in student loans for degrees that did not lead to jobs, and
Small business owners, left to struggle under the weight of more taxes, more regulations and more government harassments if not restrictions(KANJO),high rental charges for business premises. Why is this happening in a country that is defined by equality of opportunity and freedom? This is because,while our people and the economy,are pushing the boundaries of the 21st century, too many of our leaders and their advisors' ideas are stuck in the twentieth century.
With devolution, we must understand strengthening our local economy can transform Komarock into a vibrant economy. Now, the time has come for our generation to lead the way and we welcome all the people of Komarock,let us share in this vision of youth leadership and Integrity through selfless service based on public interest, accountability,objectivity, impartiality and commitment with inclusiveness which is my core strength. We need reduced taxes, minimal and fair regulations, avail resources, promote talent, attract innovations even investors to create better-paying job opportunities. My commitment to Komarock Ward is:-
We must create policies to ensure;

EDUCATION
Bursaries.If we can come up with a database for all families in Komarock,this will ensure equitable and fair distribution of bursaries to the needy students.
To enable our people to acquire the skills they need in our Constituency-Embakasi Central? Where are our Technical Colleges or Youth Polytechnics? Why don't we have,however small but somehow equipped National Library Services?

SECURITY
Our leadership will not close an eye for the already existing security mechanisms such as community policing-nyumba kumi,enhancement of a gated community and well lit estates through the installation and maintaining of 'mulika mwizis' in the estates.
More so, we shall partner with government agencies and personnel is The area Chief and the OCPD to w**d out those posing security threat to our people.
We have approached the area OCPD to provide the personnel,which he has agreed on condition we provide space which in collaboration with the Chief,he has agreed to provide the space just where she is located.

UNEMPLOYMENT (YOUTH & WOMEN).
Idling is rampant in the ward and the most hit categories are the aforementioned-the youth & women.
This groups need empowerment through initiating project that will in turn generate income for our people.
This youth and women g empowerment is achievable,only and if there are legally and genuine registration of the groups. This is the only way we can uplift and boost our people as it guarantees facilitation of available funds-THE UWEZO FUND equitably in a transparent and accountable manner.
The dirty environment we are in currently is an opportunity for a garbage collection, put up carwash,tailoring and dressmaking,landscaping and beautification ventures.
Our youth & women need space to carry on with their small businesses. We shall create space,which will be free apart from just garbage and security services fee,along the Komarock drainage which stretches from Phase 3 all the way to Jada. That is land that has been lieing idle for long my idea is it can be utilized that way for the benefit our people, call it,"SOKO-NATE".
We shall liaise with the Komarock Residents Association to implement this.

ENVIRONMENT, DRAINAGES, SEWERS & ROAD NETWORKS;
We shall have to manage our surrounding efficiently only if we become responsible residents. Under our leadership,there shall be liter bins at strategic specific point serving a number of people. We shall encourage and sensitize all to make good use bins for a clean environment which atbthevsame time will have created jobs for our youths who shall be collecting and take the garbage to the right places. We shall have to try and acquire trucks for collection in the estates.
Within the first one hundred days,we shall be involved intensively on rehabilitation and proper maintenance of our deteriorated drainage, sewer and road networks of Komarock,recarpeting of the dilapidated footpaths.

COMMUNITY INTERACTION & NETWORKING.
As the people of Komarock,we need cohesion and integration as a society. Our young people who have talent end up wasted since there are no programs for and environment to nurture them. Lack facilities and upgrading of those in existence is a challenge to this. We shall have to protect and nurture these talent through organizing for tournaments,random bashing, cultural and social events such as Mr and Mrs Komarock, inter churches choir competitions etc. This is a sector that is so neglected in this ward for so long hence our young people loosing focus thus engaging in delinquency,unwanted pregnancies among other vices.
A suggestion of free WiFi in Komarock from one of our supporters,am considering that brilliant, personally I welcome but it's a bridge we can only cross when there.

WATER;
We must appreciate this is a perennial challenge not only to the people of Komarock but Nairobi County and by extension Kenya. We are all aware that the water table,in Nairobi especially, is near and we shall petition the county government to consider boreholes by researchers report on the availability and safety of the waters for consumption . However, we need to connect water pipes up to places not connected e.g. Humama,Kanguruwe,Junction. Erect water outlets/kiosks. The kiosks shall be selling water to households at fairly cheap and affordable price for a 20 litre Jerry Can-say 10/- per.

CONCLUSION;
"The horse has bolted",
This election, in my own view, it is not about political parties and our obsession on tribal alignment, it is rather a generational choice about what kind of people we will be. Politics of yesterday are over, and we are never going back. Leadership is always about the future. Before us now is the opportunity to author the greatest chapter yet in the amazing history of our Ward-Komarock. We cant do that by going back to the leaders and ideas of the past. We must change the approach for the decisions we are making by changing the people who are making them.
That is why today, grounded by the lessons of our backwardness experience, and inspired by the promise of our future that I dream of seeing a better Komarock, I announce my Candidature to vie as The Member of the County Assembly to represent the people of Komarock in Nairobi County Assembly.
My candidacy might seem impossible to some. It's an out dated and retrogressive thinking that any elective office including being an MCA is a preserve for only the rich and powerful. We have to be exceptional to inspire,influence, instill hope and impact positively and prove to the millions struggling out there that they can have the same dreams and the same future as those who come from the powerful and privileged. Today the people of Komarock, especially the youth and women who are extremely affected, have come together to express and prove the same hence "SAUTI YETU".
I recognize the challenges of this campaign, and the demands of the office I seek. But in this endeavor as in all things, I find comfort in the ancient command to,'BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS'.The Bible says, "Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go". I am confident that together with you hand in hand we shall make it and God is there for us. Some suggested that I should step aside and wait, but I cannot betray those who believe in this course and what I stand for. Because I believe our very identity,as an exceptional Ward, is at stake, and I can make a difference as your representative in the County Assembly.
I am humbled by the realization that the people of Komarock need change and a voice they deserve-"SAUTI YETU". I will become a servant and for the first time in history committed to a community MOU for my responsibility in the County Assembly. When we were called upon to serve our people and commenced what seemed mission impossible many have mocked us, friends turned to enemies but we still growing.
To the Churches, Schools, Estates, Businesses I have visited and entire Komarock Community very few friends with me and my family, your prayers will be answered- Yes we can.
To all emerging and potential young leaders, we must inspire and instill hope. Fellow politicians, we must become visionary and accommodative leaders, we are bestowed this responsibility by God through our people and we must therefore commit to serve our people.
To succeed in this journey, I will need your prayers, your support, and ultimately, your VOTES. Today I am asking you to take that first step with me, by becoming our chief campaigner. Make every day you inform ten people in the Churches, Matatus and your place of work. Our greatest shortcoming is resources. We have the people, we got the passion and God's time, which is now, is right. We ask our wealthy business people and well wishers to support our campaigns. You can get in touch with our team for correspondence. The final verdict on our generation will be written come August 8th. Let us make the right choice by voting for me to ably undertake the following roles as articulated in the Constitution of Kenya
as a Member of the County Assembly (MCA).
i. Maintain close contact with the electorate and consult them on issues before or under discussion in the County Assembly,
ii. Present views, opinions and proposals of the people of Komarock Ward to the County Assembly,
iii. Attend sessions of the County Assembly and its committees,
iv. Provide a linkage between the county assembly and the people of Komarock Ward on public service delivery and,
v. Extend professional knowledge, experience or specialised knowledge to any issue for discussion in the County Assembly on behalf of the people of Komarock Ward.
NOTE: As an MCA ,I should not directly or indirectly be involved in the executive functions of the County Government and its administration or in the delivery of services as if I am an officer or employee of the County Government
I am humbled to be the "SAUTI YETU" I accept,
and I won't let you down I am dependable.

Here is the secret,

Tell everyone not to tell everyone always
"VOTE
FOR
NATEMBEYA EDDISON NANDOLI
MCA
KOMAROCK WARD

That's the secret.

God bless Kenya and God bless the people of Komarock.

A jobless man applied for the position of ‘office boy’ at a very big company.

The employer interviewed him, then a test: clean the floor.

“You are hired.” – the employer said. ”Give me your email address, and I’ll send you the application to fill, as well as when you will start.”

The man replied, “I don’t have a computer, neither an email.”

“I’m sorry,” said the employer, “if you don’t have an email , you cannot have the job.”

The man left with no hope. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 USD in his pocket.

He then decided to go to the supermarket, bought a 10 kg tomato crate, then sold the tomatoes door to door. In less than two hours, he succeeded and doubled his capital. He repeated the operation 3 times and returned home with $60 USD. The man realized that he could survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and returned late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday. Shortly later, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

Five years later, the man’s company was one of the biggest food retailers. He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance. He called an insurance broker and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied: “I don’t have an email.”

The broker replied curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Do you imagine what position you could have if you had an email?”

The man paused for a while, and replied: “An office boy!”

Don’t be discouraged if something is not in your favor today. Better opportunities are always waiting ahead.
