Mwanaisha Chidzuga

The deputy government spokesperson Hon. Mwanaisha Chidzuga today had a meeting with Ms Zahal Indimuli the CEO End femicide Kenya who had paid a courtesy call at her office in Nairobi.

They discussed matters on Gender Based Violence (GBV), women empowerment, girl child and how to end femicide cases in the country.

Hon Chidzuga said that the government is committed in the fight against GBV and Femicide and has come up with different measures which have assisted in curbing the cases.

Ms Zahal noted that they would like to work closely with the government and women leaders who can also assist in pushing the campaign of the fight against GBV and femicide to end the manace.

"We need to work closely and reach out to all the women in the country so as to end GBV and femicide cases," she said.

As Government we appreciated the republic of Indian for standing with us during this period of disaster and we urge Kenyans to continue evacuating from riparian land and other areas that alerts abd advisories has been issued and move to safer areas.
