Staff members from the Child Welfare Society of Kenya (CWSK) offloading foodstuffs given to the family Philip Amimo Wado and his wife Michelle Yolance after they were reunited with their two sons on December 15, 2023.
The children got lost after they were separated with their mother early in 2023. They were rescued and taken to Mama Ngina Children’s Home after which the tracing of their family begun, culminating in the happy reunion.
Upon arrival in Jangwani village, they were received by Utalii Location Chief Christine Demba.

The reunion was done through Child Welfare Society of Kenya’s Family Tracing and Reunification Programme.

Child Welfare Society of Kenya’s community intervention in Mutuini, Dagoretti in Nairobi County reached 6,000 vulnerable children in 1,500 families.

On December 15, 2023, the Child Welfare Society of Kenya conducted a community intervention targeting children in needy families in Mutuini, Dagoretti in Nairobi county.
The intervention targeted 6,000 children in 1,500 households. The families received mattresses, blankets and foodstuffs.

Following the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam results, we the Child Welfare Society of Kenya are celebrating the 93 candidates in our Temporary Places of Safety (TPS) who sat the exam and performed quite well.
Our top candidate, Samuel Wangila, scored 394 marks out of 500, with 15 others scoring over 360 marks.
