In principle, all the abstracts submitted for AETFAT2017 congress have been accepted. However, if there are queries (that may need your attention) raised by the reviewers, you’ll be contacted individually. You have been given up to 6th January, 2017; to make changes/revision (if any) on your abstract(s). Please do confirm with us that, we have your abstract by the same date by contacting Mutuku Musili: [email protected] or Peris Kamau: [email protected]
Payment for registration and congress excursion (guided tours) is now open. The early bird registration closes on 31st January, 2017. Payment by Visa or Bank transfer is acceptable.

One the tree species participants will be able to see
Public institutions, non governmental bodies and corporates are invited to participate in this rare and exciting congress. There will be plenary sessions by distinguished botanists, specialized symposia and excursions to botanically interesting sites in the vicinity of Nairobi. Optional pre- and post-congress guided tours to various parts of Kenya, including the Taita hills and coastal forests, snow-capped world heritage site of Mt Kenya, tropical lowland rainforests of Kakamega, and the Great Rift Valley regions with amazing lakes shall be organized. The organizing committee invites researchers working on various aspects of botany of tropical Africa to participate in the congress
