I want to extend my thanks to all supporters more so our great mother Shelley Mizener who has stood with us for the last two years. Our generous supporters helped us keep more families of vulnerable children together than ever before.

When children face crisis, holding together is a crucial part of the healing process. Children need parents to hold their hand and give them the reassurance that only a parent can. They want to play together and support each other. We need to be strong, to cheer children on even when they are scared of themselves.

CAHED makes all of this possible. CAHED child rescue, keep families together and offer them a soothing place to rest, recharge, and cope with the loneliness. With your help, we can continue to provide comfort and care to these children and focus on healing together.

Sincerely,

Dear Friends

Preparing to go back to school can be an expensive time for any family or student. It is an especially difficult time for homeless and foster children who are unable to afford all of the supplies they need to excel in school.

CAHED has not only provided shelter to over 50 homeless CHILDREN between the ages of 04-14 this year alone, but has also provided them with essential items such as nutritional meals, shelter, mentors and tutors, case management and educational programs. Our volunteers work to eliminate barriers between homeless children and their education, equipping them with the proper tools to succeed in school or alternative educational programs.

With your support we can help the homeless children of CAHED with the opportunity to be successful in life and feel a sense of worth.

Below you will find a list of commonly requested items needed to make going back to school a comfortable time for homeless and foster children in CAHED. The supplies our children currently need most are highlighted below.
