Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh is currently in Africa for a working visit. After Somalia, she arrived in Kenya and paid a courtesy visit to Kenyan president, William Ruto.

She met Sudanese Women Peacebuilders and had discussion about issues faced by women and girls in Sudan.

She also held a meeting with leading business women from the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya at the Pallet Cafe in Lavington, Nairobi. She also met Maryann, an 80-year-old tortoise!

It's about halfway before fledging the nest, after which it will stay in close proximity to it's parents who will keep feeding it for approximately 6-7 months while it learns to hunt on its own.
