DISTRACTIONS pt 3 >>

Part 1 named the cycle.
Part 2 showed the receipts.
Part 3 is action time!

CRISIS → SPECTACLE → OUTRAGE → DISTRACTION → FADING → REPEAT

You know it now. You've seen it play out in real time.
Floods response? SHA's 11 billion? 1.3 trillion?

In this piece, we've mapped out the Sh100M influencer budget. The surveillance playbook. How media manufactures compliance & 'popularity'. The global tactics being copy-pasted into Kenya & the patterns to watch for as 2027 gets closer.

Now here's what matters - your response:
On X: When that rage bait tweet drops, don't engage. Type . Keep scrolling.
On TikTok: When your favorite creator suddenly switches camps, don't engage. Or just drop in the comments. Subtly gives a headsup for other viewers.
On mainstream media: When the news is pure hopelessness on repeat, switch sources. You're not limited to just one source anymore.

Why works: Because we're appealing to you, not performing for State House. Government hashtags fade in weeks. People-pushed tags like have lasted years.

Organic pressure outlasts paid noise. Every single time.

The truth is simple: You're not powerless. You're distracted.
And distraction is a choice you can decide to refuse.

It takes two hands to clap.
Raise a fist instead :)

Part 1 gave you the pattern.
Part 2 gave you the proof.
Part 3 gives you the tools.

The rest is up to you.
You know what to do.

We're continuing our civic campaign amid a deeply troubling pattern of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial abductions of Kenyan citizens.

We are making a public appeal and amplifying the call regarding Samuel Mwangi Ng'ang'a's whereabouts. A father of 2, husband, and ordinary Kenyan - last seen on 27th February on his way to work. He has now been missing for one week.

This follows widely reported public sentiment on the same, and we are responding to it.

It is your Constitutionally-mandated right to life, liberty, and security of person (Article 26 & 29) and to a fair trial (Article 50) as a Kenyan citizen. Any departure from this is a contravention against the Law.

We hold to account all relevant state agencies - including the DCI - on the account of Samuel's whereabouts.

Please produce Samuel Mwangi Ng'ang'a in good health and state of being, as guarded by the Constitution of Kenya.

This is a mandate guarded by the Constitution and every Kenyan is invited to help contend for the soul of the law of the land by amplifying this to its best intended end. ✊🏾🇰🇪

DISTRACTIONS pt 2 >>

Part 1 named the cycle
Part 2 shows you some receipts

CRISIS -> SPECTACLE -> OUTRAGE -> DISTRACTION -> FADE AWAY -> REPEAT

You've felt it. The whiplash. The outrage fatigue. The way 1.3 trillion becomes yesterday's news by Wednesday.

That's not an accident; on the contrary, we think there are patterns to it

Patterns we can uncover & pull the weeds right from the roots.

——

This is Part 2 - a CEKA special series

We're going forensic.

The Russian Valentine that buried 200+ Kenyans dying in Ukraine. The SHA system that cost Sh104 billion but pays KSh7000 for a KSh300,000 bill. The KEMSA billions that vanished into offshore accounts with no one in handcuffs to date... and more we'll capture in part 3, including the highly captured influencers-on-budget.

The closer we get to the elections, the louder the spectacle.
So, let's set the pace right here

——

A distracted citizen is a manageable citizen.
And Kenya has been managed long enough.

Part 1 gave you the pattern
Part 2 gives you the proof
Part 3 will give the tools.

We're embarking on a civic campaign during the recent arrests & legal proceedings for two indicted Kenyans (Peter 'Menelik' Kimani & Booker Omole).

We are making a public appeal and amplifying the call regarding Peter's whereabouts and for a fairer trial for Booker. This follows widely reported public sentiment on the same & we're responding to it.

It is your Constitutionally-mandated right to a fair trial (Article 50) in any legal process as a Kenyan citizen. Any departure from this is a contravention against the Law.

We hold to account the DCI which had last contact with Peter on the account of his whereabouts.

Please produce Peter Kimani in good health and state of being as guarded in the Constitution of Kenya.
Also, produce Booker Omole in good health and state of being, also as guarded in the Constitution of Kenya.

This is a mandate guarded by the Constitution and every Kenyan is invited to help contend for the soul of the law of the land by amplifying this to the best intended end of it!

THE PRICE OF COMPROMISE >>

Let's run it back to 2013.

Given the knowledge you have right now, would you make the same ballot choice you did then?

In this post, we present the cost of compromise over the years vs the cost of that 1 vote... your vote

Yes, your vote - it turns out - is quite expensive!
Just one vote! Makes all the difference!

We hope this piece answers the question: "Why vote?"

Because the alternative is faaar more expensive.
Costing about KSh 12 - 14 trillion in deficit.

Is it that simple? Perhaps not.

But with this post, and more we've made

We hope we convince you to make a better choice this time round

This is not radicalisation; this is information dissemination, as guided & guarded by the Constitution of Kenya 2010
