Today, the Board of Directors and Management of Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre led by the Board Chairman Dr. Nuh Nassir, held a training at KALRO, Naivasha.
The training programme, conducted by the Office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, focused on corporate governance, financial stewardship, accountability and strategic oversight, reaffirming KAGRC’s commitment to strong leadership and continuous improvement in delivering superior Kenyan animal genetics.

KAGRC, yesterday recognized and awarded the best 5th Year student in Theriogenology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine during a ceremony held at The University of Nairobi main campus.
The award, presented by the Head of Extension Services on behalf of the Managing Director, included a trophy and a cash prize in recognition of academic excellence and dedication in the field.
This initiative is in line with KAGRC’s mandate of collaborating with training institutions to strengthen capacity and advance the livestock sector in Kenya.
Congratulations to the award recipient on this remarkable achievement and best wishes in the journey ahead.

KAGRC led by the Managing Director, Dr. Benadatte J. Misoi, today appeared before the National Assembly Parliamentary Investment Committee on Social Services, Administration and Agriculture to discuss the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) reports. The engagement provided an opportunity for the Centre to highlight its progress, accountability measures and commitment to strengthening service delivery in the livestock sector.
