HUA is a national independent non for profit organisation established in Kenya in 2009 with a purpose of implementing and supporting community health and development programmes that enable communities and partners to design, develop and implement initiatives that promote development, health and wholeness. HUA works in partnership with community structur
es and organisations, governments’, civil society and the private sector including academic institutions. HUA is governed by the conviction that all people and communities have inherent capacities to undertake sustainable collective cooperative action to address their health and development challenges.
