Today, we received sports equipment from the National Government to support the upcoming Mashujaa Day Tournament.

Teams from Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Elgeyo Marakwet will compete in football and volleyball, culminating in the inter-county finals on October 20 at Kipchoge Stadium, Eldoret.

This support will strengthen talent development, youth empowerment, cohesion and economic opportunities through sport.

We appreciate the National Government for this partnership and look forward to a successful tournament.

Today, I visited the ongoing construction of the Chelilim Social Hall Racecourse, where works are progressing steadily and the project has reached a significant milestone, with construction now ready for roofing.

Upon completion, the facility will serve as a modern multipurpose hall, providing a dedicated space for community meetings, social functions, youth programmes, cultural activities and other public engagements.

This investment represents a continued commitment to delivering quality public infrastructure that creates lasting value and expands opportunities.

The work continues. The vision is taking shape. The people will benefit.
