A section of the suspects arraigned in Nanyuki on Tuesday following anti-Ebola quarantine protests in Laikipia on Monday.

A total of 31 protesters were charged with unlawfully obstructing motor vehicles.

During the confrontation, one person was killed and two others sustained gunshot wounds during the clash between police and protesters in Nanyuki Town over the planned establishment of an Ebola quarantine facility in the area.
