During the Parklands door-to-door interactions last week, Nelson Havi met Luisi Muindi Ndinda, a 72 year-old granny who lives in Kijiji Maasai, Parklands/Highridge ward. An instant friendship sparked and the good lady revealed her struggle with illness for over 3 years.
As was promised to her by Westlands' newest darling, we set aside today's activities to take her to M.P. Shah Hospital for medical attention. After a long day, Shosho got the treatment she required and returned home both thankful and hopeful of improvement to her health.
The plight of Shosho Luisi represents that of many residents of Westlands who have no access to good or affordable healthcare services. Our four-point agenda will address this abhorrent reality through ensuring equitable revenue allocation and Infrastructural development.
