Yeak Laom Lake is a volcanic crater lake located near the town of Banlung in Ratanakiri, Cambodia. Around 800 meters in diameter and 48-52 meters deep depending on the season, the lake provides the perfect clear waters for swimming as well as the perfect views for relaxing on one of the four piers. everal wooden huts surrounding the edge of the lake, walking along the clearly marked hiking path which runs parallel to the lake or exploring one of five indigenous villages situated near the lake. There is also a cultural center, located a couple of hundred meters from the first pier which includes information and history on the lake as well as several musical instruments and objects used by the indigenous community. There are several spots to eat local Khmer food located near the lake and lifejackets are also available for hire at 3,000r for a day. The prices of admission are as follow:
