Wat Damrei Sor (White Elephant Pagoda)

White Elephant Pagoda is one of the ancient pagodas in Battambang city, and it is regarded as a tourism pagoda as well.

It is located behind the Battambang museum about 600 meters from the provincial hall.

The pagoda happened in 1793, as of today is 229 years old. There is a temple, which was built in 1904 with distinctive features for bas - reliefs on the temple wall, door and window frames, roofs, and fronton.

On the other hand, when hearing the name of this pagoda, we always think about a series of songs which were written by a famous songwriter and sung by a famous singer, namely Sinsisamuth.

Ok, let's see a few photos of Wat Damrei Sor altogether.
