Chrysopelea ornata (Golden Tree Snake) preying on Gekko gecko (Tokay Gecko). The snake fell from the roof, already holding the Tokay. The whole episode lasted almost 2.5 hours. It was nearly 2 hours in before the snake started to eat the gecko.

I am off to Phnom Penh tomorrow to start the new year with a new job, so Gee's Nature Tours is no more. I am keeping this page to post interesting things about nature, something I always meant to do more and intend doing better in the future.

At first I saw only the spider (I think Telamonia dimidiata). Then I noticed it seemed to be attached to something, and a photo revealed the jaws of a larva of an owlfly (Ascalaphinae, Myrmeleontidae).

UPDATE: It seems they have reactivated the site, already, as soon as I agreed to upgrade.

For anyone who uses my website, it is currently not available because the hosting company has decided to take it down until I upgrade to a different package. I am working on getting it back up as soon as possible.
