🥬សហគមន៍ផ្គត់ផ្គង់កសិផលស្វាយរៀង ត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ២០១០ ក្រោមការគាំទ្រពីមន្ទីរកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទខេត្តស្វាយរៀង និងអង្គការអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តអន្តរជាតិយ៉ាម៉ាកាតារបស់ជប៉ុន (ហៅកាត់ថាIVY) ដោយមានគោលបំណងលើកកម្ពស់ជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់ប្រជាកសិករខ្នាតតូចជាង ៣០០គ្រួសារក្នុងសហគមន៍។

🥬Svay Rieng Agro-Product Cooperative was established in 2010 with the support of Svay Rieng Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Japanese NGO, International Volunteers of Yamagata (IVY), with the aim of improving the livelihoods of more than 300 smallholder farmers in the community.

🥬This agricultural cooperative has focused on producing high-quality and safe vegetables under the CamGAP Certification standard. These efforts have strengthened farmers’ livelihoods through collective action and active engagement in the organic vegetable market.

ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ មន្ទីរសុខាភិបាលនៃរដ្ឋបាលខេត្តកំពង់ចាម សហការជាមួយមន្ទីរពេទ្យបង្អែកខេត្តកំពង់ចាមបានរៀបចំយុទ្ធនាការពិនិត្យរកមហារីកមាត់ស្បូនដោយប្រើតេស្ត HPV ជាតេស្តគោល លើកទី១ក្រោមគម្រោងគ្រប់គ្រង ជំងឺមិនឆ្លងរួមគ្នា។ យុទ្ធនាការនេះ គឺជាការអនុវត្តការពិនិត្យរកមេរោគ HPV ជាតេស្តគោល លើកដំបូងបំផុត នៅក្នុងខេត្តកំពង់ចាម។ វាគឺជាជំហានដ៏សំខាន់មួយ ក្នុងការបង្កើតប្រព័ន្ធនៃសេវាថែទាំជំងឺមហារីកមាត់ស្បូន ឱ្យបានគ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយ ដែលអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យស្ត្រីគ្រប់លក្ខខណ្ឌក្នុងការចូលរួមមានសិទ្ធិទទួលបានការពិនិត្យ ការធ្វើរោគវិនិច្ឆ័យ និងការព្យាបាល ទៅលើកោសិកាមិនប្រក្រតីមុនមហារីកនៅក្នុងមូលដ្ឋានសុខាភិបាល ដោយមិនចាំបាច់ធ្វើដំណើរមកទទួលសេវានៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។

នៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីបើកយុទ្ធនាការនេះ ឯកឧត្តមវេជ្ជបណ្ឌិត ង៉ូវ កាង រដ្ឋលេខាធិការនៃក្រសួង សុខាភិបាល និងជានាយកគម្រោងគ្រប់គ្រងជំងឺមិនឆ្លង បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណដល់អង្គការចៃកា (JICA) ចំពោះការគាំទ្រជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ និងបានបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តយ៉ាងមុតមាំក្នុងការសហការ យ៉ាងជិតស្និទ្ធជាមួយអង្គការចៃកា (JICA) ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាជំងឺមិនឆ្លង រួមទាំងមហារីក មាត់ស្បូននៅកម្ពុជា។ ឯកឧត្តមក៏បានបង្ហាញការរំពឹងទុកថា ខេត្តកំពង់ចាមនឹងក្លាយជាខេត្តគំរូមួយ ក្នុងការអនុវត្តការពិនិត្យរកមហារីកមាត់ស្បូន ដោយប្រើតេស្ត HPV ជាតេស្តគោល សម្រាប់បណ្តាខេត្តផ្សេងៗអនុវត្តតាម។ សូមរំលឹកផងដែរថា ក្នុងកម្មវិធីនេះ មានការចូលរួមពី តំណាងការិយាល័យចៃកា (JICA) ប្រចាំប្រទេសកម្ពុជា លោកវេជ្ជបណ្ឌិត វ៉ា សាវុធ ប្រធាន មន្ទីរសុខាភិបាលនៃរដ្ឋបាលខេត្តកំពង់ចាម និងសាស្ត្រាចារ្យ យិន ស៊ីណាត ប្រធានមន្ទីរពេទ្យ ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម។

ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលយុទ្ធនាការរយៈពេល៥ថ្ងៃនេះ មានស្ត្រីសរុបចំនួន១៧១នាក់ ដែលបានចុះឈ្មោះជាមុន មកពីភូមិចំនួន៤ នៅក្នុងខេត្តកំពង់ចាម ដែលមានអាយុចន្លោះពី៣០ ដល់៤៩ឆ្នាំបានចូលរួម។ សម្រាប់ស្ត្រីដែលមានលទ្ធផលវិជ្ជមាននៃមេរោគ HPV មន្ទីរពេទ្យ ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម នឹងបន្តការតាមដាន វាយតម្លៃរោគវិនិច្ឆ័យ និងការព្យាបាលបន្ត។ យុទ្ធនាការ លើកទីពីរ គ្រោងនឹងរៀបចំធ្វើនៅចុងឆ្នាំ២០២៦នេះម្តងទៀត។ ជាថ្មីម្តងទៀត គម្រោងប្តេជ្ញា បន្តពង្រឹងលើការអនុវត្តការពិនិត្យរកមេរោគ HPV នៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យបង្អែកខេត្តកំពង់ចាម ឱ្យកាន់ តែមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពបន្ថែមទៀត។ យុទ្ធនាការនេះ គឺជាជំហានទៅមុខដ៏សំខាន់មួយក្នុងការពង្រីកលើការទទួលសេវាថែទាំ និងព្យាបាល ជំងឺមហារីកមាត់ស្បូននៅកម្ពុជា៕

From 18th to 22nd May, Kampong Cham Provincial Department (PHD), in collaboration with Kampong Cham Provincial Hospital (PH), initiated its first HPV test-based cervical cancer screening campaign under the Joint Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Control Project. This campaign marks the very first implementation of HPV test-based screening in Kampong Cham Province. It is a significant step in creating a comprehensive cervical cancer care pathway that allows eligible women to access screening, diagnosis, and precancer treatment services locally, without traveling to Phnom Penh.

At the launching ceremony of this campaign, H.E. Dr. Ngov Kang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health and Project Director of the NCD Control Project, expressed his gratitude to JICA for its continuous support and emphasized his strong commitment to working closely with JICA to address NCDs, including cervical cancer, in Cambodia. He expects Kampong Cham Province to be a model in implementing HPV test-based screening for other provinces to follow. For this ceremony, representatives of JICA Cambodia Office, Dr. Va Savuth, Director of Kampong Cham PHD and Prof. Yin Sinath, Director of Kampong Cham PH, also joined.

During the five days campaign, a total of 171 pre-registered women from 4 villages in Kampong Cham Province aged 30-49 years old joined. For those women who are tested HPV positive, Kampong Cham PH will follow up and provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment. The second campaign is planned for late 2026. The Project is committed to further strengthening the implementation of HPV test-based screening at Kampong Cham PH. This campaign marks a significant step toward expanding access to cervical cancer services in Cambodia.

🥬Suzuki Sun Farm was initiated through a business survey supported by JICA. The farm produces safe and high-quality vegetables under the technical supervision of the Japanese company S.U.N FIELDS, applying modern Japanese agricultural technology.

🥬The farm produces varieties of organic vegetables under the CamGAP certification standard which are supplied to local supermarkets, including Lala Garden, Phsar Apanak Mart, and Sna Dai Kmeng Kamprea.

Our new volunteers have now successfully completed their 50 hours Khmer Language Training before their upcoming assignment to different provinces of Cambodia. Throughout the training, they worked hard not only to learn the language, but also to share cultures and experiences with one another. 🌱🤝Sethakech Baytong Samlot Agricultural Cooperative (SBSAC) is a cooperative that provides technical livestock support to households in the community, including chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and cattle. It also produces high-quality organic products registered under the One Village One Product (OVOP) scheme, such as organic liquid fertilizer, medicine for livestock breeding, high-quality compost, mineral blocks for cattle and goats, and traditional fermented soybean seasoning.

SBSAC was supported by the Japanese NGO Terra Renaissance under the JICA Partnership Program (JPP) with the aim of support vulnerable households and local farmers. More than just a business group, SBSAC is part of a broader rural development effort that connects farmers, local production, and community income generation.

On Monday, May 4, a National Validation Workshop was held to review the revised Preliminary Victim Identification Guidelines, namely the Guidelines on Forms and Procedures for Identification of Victims of Human Trafficking for Appropriate Service Provision. The event brought together representatives from relevant ministries and CSOs to engage in an exchange of views.

For the past three years, a technical cooperation project between the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and the JICA-TRUST Project, Project on Capacity Development for Assisting Survivors of Trafficking in Persons, has worked closely with NCCT, relevant ministries and civil society partners to refine these crucial guidelines.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders to review and finalize the guidelines, ensuring that the presumed victims of human trafficking are identified and receive the protection and support they deserve. Victim identification is the cornerstone of anti-human trafficking efforts, serving as the foundation for all subsequent support and justice.

Based on the feedback we received during the workshop, we will now finalize the document in preparation for the National Launch scheduled for this summer. The JICA-TRUST Project continues to support this finalization process to ensure the guidelines serve as a practical and effective tool for frontline operations.

On 1 May 2026, Ms. MIYAZAKI Katsura, JICA Executive Senior Vice President, together with the delegates from JICA HQs and JICA Cambodia Office, visited the Roleang Chrey Headwork in Kampong Speu Province under the Southwest Phnom Penh Irrigation and Drainage Rehabilitation and Improvement Project.

During the visit, the delegation observed key construction works, including the installation of Cambodia’s first double-leaf gate operated by a single hoisting mechanism. This advanced facility showcases Japanese technology and engineering expertise, contributing to improved irrigation and drainage systems that will benefit local communities.

The visit highlighted the steady progress of the project and reaffirmed the strong partnership between Cambodia and Japan in improving irrigation and drainage system, water resource management and agricultural resilience in Cambodia.

នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២៨ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ កិច្ចប្រជុំគណៈកម្មាធិការសម្របសម្រួលរួម (JCC) លើកទី២ សម្រាប់ “គម្រោងអនុវត្តវិធីសាស្រ្តទីក្រុងឆ្លាតវៃ ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាទីក្រុងនៅសៀមរាប ជំហានទី២” ត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងនៅសាលាខេត្ត និងតាមអនឡាញ។ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះដឹកនាំដោយ ឯកឧត្តម ប្រាក់ សោភ័ណ អភិបាលនៃរដ្ឋបាលខេត្តសៀមរាប (SRPA) ដោយមានការចូលរួមពីអ្នកពាក់ព័ន្ធសំខាន់ៗមកពីក្រសួងពាក់ព័ន្ធ រួមទាំងក្រសួងមហាផ្ទៃផងដែរ។

On the morning of April 28, 2026, the Second Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting for the “Project for Implementation of Smart City Approach to Solve Urban Issues in Siem Reap Phase 2” was held at Siem Reap Provincial Hall and online. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Prak Sophoan, Governor of Siem Reap Provincial Administration (SRPA), with participation of key stakeholders from relevant line ministries, including the Ministry of Interior.

The JICA Expert Team presented the project framework, its three outputs, and the pilot projects and related activities, including plans for disseminating good practices.

Progress since the 1st JCC (October 2025) demonstrates a clear transition from identifying urban issues to formulating strategies, selecting pilot projects, and refining activities based on lessons learned from Phase 1.

Phase 2 introduces a shift from a sector-based to an area-based approach, focusing on the Pub Street and Riverside areas to deliver integrated, visible, and scalable urban solutions. Key activities include people flow monitoring, riverside greenery approach, initial fire response, and urban circulation promotion, etc.

The meeting also highlighted the third Smart Cities Seminar, held on 29 April, featuring knowledge sharing and learning exchanges from Okazaki City, Japan.

On 1 May 2026, Ms. Miyazaki Katsura, Executive Senior Vice President of JICA, together with the delegation from JICA Headquarters and JICA Cambodia, was honored to participate in the celebration of the 140th Anniversary of Labor Day and the 30th Anniversary of Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) to the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (1996–2026), held under the high presidency of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E. Mr. Ueno Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia.

For three decades, JICA has closely collaborated with the Royal Government of Cambodia and Sihanoukville Autonomous Port through Japan’s ODA to improve port infrastructure, logistics efficiency, and human resource capacity. These long-standing efforts have contributed to strengthening Cambodia’s connectivity with regional and global markets, while supporting industrial development, trade promotion, and job creation.

JICA remains committed to further deepening the partnership between Japan and Cambodia toward inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development.
