ពិធីប្រកាសដាក់ឱ្យអនុវត្តគម្រោងនេះ បានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅក្រោមសហអធិបតីភាព ឯកឧត្តម ហែម វណ្ណឌី រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងឧស្សាហកម្ម វិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ និងឯកឧត្តម Wang Wenbin ឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតនៃសាធារណរដ្ឋប្រជាមានិតចិនប្រចាំកម្ពុជា ដោយមានការចូលរួមពីតំណាងក្រសួង ស្ថាប័ន ស្ថានទូតឡាវ និងស្ថានទូតវៀតណាមប្រចាំកម្ពុជា ដៃគូអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ និងវិស័យឯកជន។

New Lancang-Mekong Project Launched to Enhance MSME Productivity, Digital Transformation in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam

Phnom Penh, May 8, 2026 — The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) on Friday launched a Lancang-Mekong Cooperation project aimed at strengthening productivity and digital adoption among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Viet Nam through regional policy support and knowledge sharing.

The launch ceremony, co-presided over by Minister Hem Vanndy and Ambassador Wang Wenbin, brought together participants from government institutions, embassies of Lao PDR and Viet Nam, development partners and private sector.

Phnom Penh, May 7, 2026 — H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, attended the Cambodia Investment Forum 2026 hosted by the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

Sitting on the Forum’s high-level penel, the Minister called for coordinated support to better link small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with foreign direct investment (FDI).
He emphasized the need for simplified public services and right support from stakeholders, including financial sector to enable SMEs to scale and connect with growing FDI projects in Cambodia.

Krong Kampot, May 3, 2026 – H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, today visited key water supply infrastructure in Kampot province, including a water intake station in Teuk Chhou district and a new water treatment plant with a planned capacity of 12,600 m³/day.

Expected to be completed within two years, the project will significantly expand clean water access in Krong Kampot and surrounding areas, supporting households, tourism, and economic growth in the province.
