This is to notify you that as from 22nd October 2015, Astoria International School has changed management due to unforeseen circumstances.

We believe the new Management under the lead of Dr Chea and team is fully committed and will continue to provide quality education to your child.

Days of the week memory game for G1 students. Every day twice on the table face down. Student picks two and if the days are the same, student gets to keep the cards and a point.

K1 students take turns picking a letter card and saying how the letter sounds and a word with that letter. Then students find the matching letter on their worksheet and trace the letter

Nursery students first draw parts of the face after picking a flashcard and saying what it is.
When the face is completed, the teacher calls out students to come to the front to first erase and then draw certain parts new. (eg: erase the nose and draw new nose)

A Birthday Party at Astoria International School

A birthday is an occasion when a person or institution celebrates the anniversary of their birth.

So, why are birthdays so important, especially for kids? Well, having a special day every year that is uniquely their own is a significant part of their growth process and goes a long way toward building their self-esteem. But, in addition to that, it is also an excellent opportunity for kids to socialize with their little friends and make exciting memories that will carry forward throughout a child’s entire life.

The youngest kids at Astoria International School are called Playgroup. Look at the pictures to find out how our youngest learners study with fun and action.

Math, as the basis of Science helps the kids to develop the logical brain and we at Astoria International School take care that the students enjoy their progress in dealing with numbers.

At Astoria International School we learn English phonics and writing with a lot of fun, action and care. Look at the pictures and see how happy, engaged and concentrated the Astoria kids study.

Swimming is a healthy, low-cost activity that you can continue throughout your life. Swimming is a low-impact activity that has many physical and mental health benefits. Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.

Reading is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols in order to construct or derive meaning (reading comprehension). It is a means of language acquisition, of communication, and of sharing information and ideas.

On top of that, Reading is the most important key in order to success in learning and in life also.

And more importantly is that Reading is a multifaceted process involving word recognition, comprehension, fluency, and motivation.
