🎨 CALLING ALL ARTISTS, ART STUDENTS, CREATIVES & YOUTH GROUPS!

The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, in partnership with UNDP, is inviting submissions for the Justice Mural Initiative — a public art project aimed at promoting restorative justice through creative expression.

Artists are encouraged to develop mural concepts that reflect themes such as:
✅ Accountability and healing
✅ Community dialogue and understanding
✅ Reintegration and inclusion
✅ Youth empowerment and prevention
✅ Building safer, stronger communities
📍 Location: Newtown Playing Field (facing the Agro Strip)
📏 Mural Size: Approximately 40ft x 9ft

Who can apply?
• Local artists
• Art students
• Creative collectives
• Youth groups

Submit:
• A sketch or digital mural concept
• A brief description of the design and its connection to restorative justice
• Proposed materials and approach

🏆 One design will be selected, commissioned, and funded for implementation.

Yesterday, in recognition of OECS Colours Day, our staff donned greens, yellows, blues and whites in celebration of this milestone and our country's proud membership in this regional body.

Our Ministry continues to be thankful for the invaluable contributions made over the years by the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States via the OECS Commission, towards strengthening social protection and social development initiatives in the Federation.

For 45 years, the OECS has championed regional integration, strengthening the bonds that unite our Member States and advancing a shared vision for a resilient and prosperous future. 🤝
