The Concerned Citizens Movement is saddened to learn of the passing of Dudley Floyd Harris.
Floyd Harris was a founding member of the Concerned Citizens Movement. For the initial twenty years of the Party, he was the Chief Technician and Sound Engineer. Additionally, Floyd Harris was a CCM Candidate in the 1990 Federal Elections for the Constituency of St. James and St. Thomas.
Floyd Harris was political. He was a plain speaker, and it was this character trait that catapulted him to become one of CCM's staunchest activists. However, Floyd's commitment and passion went beyond partisan politics. He was renowned for his work with the Water Department as a Civil Servant. He was a consummate hands-on individual - be it in plumbing, electricity, construction, auto mechanics, and refrigeration.
In the area of culture, he was a leading pioneer of Culturama.
Floyd was a devout Methodist who worshipped regularly at Clifton. And so, as we mourn his passing, let his invaluable contribution to the development of our island home inspire us to continue to grow Nevis.
The Concerned Citizens Movement extends heartfelt condolences to all those who mourn.

Whitney said it best, "... children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way..."
Thank you to Founder Gabriella Brantley and Co-Director Hon.Jahnel Nisbett for this well executed initiative 5 years in a row.
Of course, our leaders stopped by to share in the inspiration.
NYCE has done it again, and we look forward to continuously showing up for our youth!
