2025 has been a truly meaningful year for Seoul MICE.

Seoul was recognized as the Best MICE City for the 11th consecutive year, and also topped the Global MZ City Rankings for the fourth year in a row, demonstrating strong global interest in and affection for the city.

This year also marked the opening of Seoul MICE Plaza, a new space designed to support the MICE industry in Seoul. Located at COEX Magok, Seoul MICE Plaza welcomes everyone, and we look forward to seeing many of you there.

Through the WSB Super Trip, many visitors traveled to Seoul and experienced the city’s MICE venues, culture, and everyday life.

At IMEX America 2025, Seoul showcased its MICE strengths through a Seoul Pavilion featuring cultural experiences, business meetings, and interactive programs. At ITB Asia 2025 in Singapore, Seoul promoted its open and friendly MICE image through a themed booth, cultural programs, and strong global partnerships.

Finally, 2025 SMA Member’s Day brought together 282 MICE professionals to share AI insights, explore industry trends, and strengthen collaboration.

Seoul offers many team-building programs during the Christmas season. As the weather gets cold, people look for indoor activities, and the city hosts several Christmas and year-end markets for groups to enjoy. These programs help teams connect while enjoying the holiday spirit. Today, we will introduce some of the Christmas events and markets happening across Seoul this winter.

✨ Starfield Library creates a Christmas-themed photo zone every year, offering a bright and festive place for visitors to enjoy the holiday mood.
🎄 Lotte Town Christmas Market hosts a Christmas market each winter, featuring lights, small shops, and a fun holiday mood.
🌟 Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch presents clean and elegant Christmas decorations for visitors to enjoy.
✨ Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch displays a large media façade each winter, turning the building into a glowing holiday landmark.
🏙️ The Hyundai Seoul sets up simple holiday displays each winter, creating a bright and cozy shopping space.

Goteo·Sebit Tourist Special Zone connects the Express Bus Terminal area with Banpo Hangang Park along the Han River, forming a key tourism belt in southern Seoul.​
The zone features Sebitseom’s floating islands, riverside night views, water leisure activities, cultural events, shopping, and diverse dining all within a walkable area.
