Dolsotbap, hot stone pot rice, has been made to serve honored guests traditionally.
It has been enjoyed in two ways: One way is to pour hot water onto the nutty-flavored crunchy rice crust inside the pot to enjoy scorched-rice water, and the other way is to make a mixture of rice and soy sauce in the heated pot. Which way do you prefer? :)

In Korea, autumn is the best reason to enjoy jumbo shrimp!
It is said to be good for osteoporosis because it is a great source of calcium, and to boost immunity preventing people from getting sick easily.
Today, I'll show you how to cook Daeha jjim (braised jumbo shrimps). :D

Porridge and gruel are liquid foods made from grains. Porridge is made by boiling whole or ground grains in water, and gruel is cooked in the same way but strained through a fine sieve. Other than grains, you can add vegetables, meat, and seafood when cooking porridge. Or, you can also add some fruits to Jatjuk (pine nut porridge), Kkaejuk (sesame porridge), and Nokdujuk (mung bean porridge).
