🔵 ASEAN Plus Three Summit 🔵
On 27 October 2025, the 28th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Summit was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia chaired by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Leaders and ministers from ASEAN, Japan, China, and the ROK attended, along with briefing from AMRO, EABC, and ASEAN Secretariat. TCS Secretary-General attended as an observer.
The APT leaders reviewed cooperation progress, exchanged viewed on regional and global developments, and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the APT framework. They welcomed the 2023-2027 Cooperation Work Plan, discussed collaboration on food and energy security, digital and green economy, poverty alleviation, youth development, and combating cross-border crimes, and adopted the APT Leaders' Statement on Economic and Financial Cooperation.
