주한 르완다 대사관은 대한민국 부처님오신날을 맞아 2026년 5월 25일 휴무임을 알려드립니다.

It was a great pleasure to receive H.E. Tanzania Ambassador to the Republic of Korea for a warm and constructive courtesy call at the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Seoul.

Our discussions reflected the strong spirit of African solidarity and the importance of working together to further strengthen cooperation between African countries represented in the Republic of Korea.

We reaffirmed our shared commitment to advancing a regional and Pan-African approach in promoting Africa’s interests, deepening partnerships with the Republic of Korea, and building stronger bridges in diplomacy, trade, investment, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Looking forward to continued close collaboration in the spirit of unity, partnership, and a shared vision for Africa’s future.

주한르완다대사관에서 주한탄자니아 대사님을 모시고 따뜻하고 뜻깊은 예방을 갖게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

이번 논의는 아프리카의 강력한 연대 정신을 반영하며 대한민국에 주재하는 아프리카 국가 간의 협력을 더욱 강화해 나가기 위한 공동 노력의 중요성을 다시 한번 확인하는 계기가 되었습니다.

Africa Day 2026 demonstrated that culture remains one of the strongest bridges between nations.

The celebration brought together African and Korean leaders, diplomats, institutions, corporations, artists and youth around a shared vision of partnership and mutual prosperity.

A particular highlight was the fusion of Africa’s rapidly growing creative industries with the global dynamism of Korean cultural industries — a meeting of A-Culture and K-Culture through fashion, music and cultural performances.

As emphasized throughout the event, Africa today is not only a continent of culture and heritage, but also a continent of innovation, opportunity, youth and transformation.

Proud to have contributed to strengthening people-to-people diplomacy between Africa and Korea.

아프리카 데이 2026은 문화가 국가와 국가를 잇는 가장 강력한 가교 중 하나임을 다시 한번 보여주었습니다.

이번 행사는 아프리카와 한국의 리더들, 외교관, 기관, 기업, 예술가, 그리고 청년들이 한자리에 모여 협력과 공동 번영이라는 비전을 공유하는 뜻깊은 자리였습니다.

A memorable evening at Africa Day 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

This year’s celebration highlighted the growing strength of Africa–Korea relations through diplomacy, culture, business and human connection.

From the high-level participation of the diplomatic corps and Korean leadership to the vibrant fashion showcase blending African creativity with Korean Hanbok elegance, the evening reflected the future of Korea–Africa engagement: connected, innovative and people-centered.

Special appreciation to the Korea-Africa Foundation, The Korea Herald, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, sponsors, partners and all members of the African Group of Ambassadors for making this important platform possible.

Africa and Korea have much to build together.

Africa Day 2026 was a remarkable success and a powerful celebration of the growing partnership between Africa and the Republic of Korea.

Honored to serve as Chair of the Organizing Committee on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Seoul and the African Group of Ambassadors.

The event brought together over 500 distinguished guests including H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Ambassadors, senior government officials, CEOs, business leaders, academia, media and members of the diplomatic corps.

More importantly, it showcased a rising “A-Culture” meeting the global success of “K-Culture” — especially through fashion, creativity, music and people-to-people diplomacy.

Together, Africa and Korea continue building bridges of innovation, culture, youth engagement and shared prosperity.

아프리카 데이 2026은 아프리카와 대한민국 간 협력이 더욱 강화되고 있음을 보여준 뜻깊고 성공적인 축제의 장이었습니다.

주한르완다대사관과 주한아프리카외교단을 대표하여 준비위원회 위원장으로 함께할 수 있어 매우 영광이었습니다.

이번 행사에는 대한민국 외교부 장관을 비롯해 각국 대사, 정부 고위 관계자, 기업 CEO 및 비즈니스 리더, 학계, 언론, 외교단 등 500여 명 이상의 주요 인사들이 참석했습니다.

The embassy was Honored to participate in today’s high level conference bringing together leading Korean scholars, researchers, and policy experts to reflect on the evolving Korea–Africa partnership ahead of the upcoming 2026 Korea Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

The discussions highlighted the growing strategic importance of Africa in global supply chains, critical minerals, energy transition, food security, climate cooperation, governance, and sustainable development.

주한르완다대사관은 오늘 개최된 고위급 컨퍼런스에 참석하게 되어 뜻깊게 생각합니다. 한국의 주요 학자, 연구원, 정책 전문가들이 한자리에 모여, 다가오는 2026 한-아프리카 외교장관회의를 앞두고 변화하는 한-아프리카 협력 관계에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 진행했습니다.

이번 논의에서는 글로벌 공급망, 핵심 광물, 에너지 전환, 식량 안보, 기후 협력, 거버넌스, 지속가능발전 등 다양한 분야에서 아프리카의 전략적 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다는 점이 강조되었습니다.

The Embassy was honored to participate in the Korea & East African Community Economic Cooperation Forum hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) , bringing together over 100 Korean companies committed to expanding partnerships with East Africa.

We extend our sincere appreciation to HE Yoon Jin-sik chairman of KITA and to his team for this important initiative.

The forum provided an opportunity to highlight Rwanda’s position as a strategic gateway to the East African Community.

Together, we continue building partnerships driven by innovation, investment, and shared prosperity.
